Omega first appeared on James Bond’s wrist in GoldenEye (1995), and Bond has worn several Seamaster models since—not one watch throughout the films. The key distinction: Casino Royale features both a Seamaster Diver 300M and a Planet Ocean, while later commemorative and Bond-themed retail editions are not automatically the same references seen on screen.
Bond’s Omega watches, film by film
The chronology below follows each film’s release year. Older exact references are primarily identified by a specialist film-watch index; Omega’s own history confirms selected model families and milestones. Where the official account does not establish a precise screen reference, it is left unspecified.

| Film | Watch identified | What is established |
|---|---|---|
| GoldenEye (1995) | Seamaster Professional 300M quartz, ref. 2541.80 | The specialist index identifies the reference. Omega’s history confirms Bond’s first Omega was a blue-dial Seamaster. Omega history; specialist film-watch index. |
| Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) | Seamaster Professional Chronometer 300M, ref. 2531.80 | Reference identified by the specialist index. |
| The World Is Not Enough (1999) | Seamaster Professional Chronometer 300M, ref. 2531.80 | Reference identified by the specialist index. |
| Die Another Day (2002) | Seamaster Professional Chronometer 300M, ref. 2531.80 | Reference identified by the specialist index. Keep it distinct from the commemorative 2002 retail edition. |
| Casino Royale (2006) | Seamaster Diver 300M and Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M | Two watches are identified, not one. Omega identifies the Diver 300M as the film model; the specialist index and Omega history also support the Planet Ocean. |
| Quantum of Solace (2008) | Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial Chronometer, black dial | Omega press-kit text identifies a steel-on-steel watch with a black dial and a 600-metre water-resistance rating. Omega press-kit archive. |
| Skyfall (2012) | Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M | Omega identifies the model family; its historical account does not establish every scene-level identification or an exact screen reference. |
| Spectre (2015) | Seamaster Aqua Terra and Seamaster 300 Heritage models | These are listed by the specialist index, not an official production inventory. Do not assume anniversary or commemorative models were the screen props. |
| No Time To Die (2021) | Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, ref. 210.90.42.20.01.001 | Swatch Group identifies the Diver 300M 007 Edition as appearing on screen and says Daniel Craig and the filmmakers helped develop it. Swatch Group announcement; exact reference listed by the specialist index. |
Omega’s Japanese chronology places No Time To Die under 2020, reflecting an earlier planned release year. The film opened in 2021, so that is the year used here. The watch identification is supported by Swatch Group’s announcement.
How the watch changed across the films
The Brosnan-era Seamaster Professional
The blue Seamaster in GoldenEye began the film association. The specialist index distinguishes that film’s quartz ref. 2541.80 from the automatic ref. 2531.80 identified in the next three Brosnan films. These specific older reference assignments come from the index rather than an opened official Omega film inventory.

Two watches in Casino Royale
Bond’s 2006 debut as played by Daniel Craig did not use just one Seamaster: the film is associated with a Diver 300M and a Planet Ocean 600M. Omega’s historical account specifically identifies the Diver 300M; the Planet Ocean is supported by the specialist index and Omega press history. A concise answer to “What Omega did Bond wear in Casino Royale?” should name both.
Planet Ocean in Quantum of Solace and Skyfall
The black-dial Planet Ocean 600M in Quantum of Solace is identified in Omega press-kit text as a steel-on-steel Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m Co-Axial Chronometer. Omega’s account identifies a Planet Ocean 600M in Skyfall, but does not establish an exact reference in the material cited here.

Later Seamaster variations
The specialist index lists Aqua Terra and Seamaster 300 Heritage models for Spectre. For No Time To Die, the on-screen watch is the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition. The film was released in 2021; do not confuse the film watch with every later watch that shares its Bond styling.

Screen watches, commemorative editions and current Bond models
“Bond Omega” can mean three different things: a watch identified as worn on screen, a commemorative product made for collectors, or a later retail model drawing on Bond designs. A Bond logo or film tie-in alone does not establish that a particular reference appeared in a movie.

Its 2006 Casino Royale Diver 300M edition was also limited to 10,007 pieces; the 2012 Skyfall Planet Ocean edition was limited to 5,007. These are production quantities for retail editions, not counts of screen-used watches. Omega’s Bond history.
- The No Time To Die design: The Diver 300M 007 Edition was developed as an on-screen watch. Omega says a later Diver 300M line took design inspiration from that model; that does not make each later Diver 300M the screen reference. Swatch Group announcement.
- Current 2026 Bond edition: Omega announced ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004 on October 5, 2026. The described configuration is stainless steel with a grade 5 titanium bezel ring, blue aluminum wave-pattern dial, brushed mesh bracelet and caliber 8806. Omega says this individual model is available through its boutiques and online. It is related Bond merchandise, not the No Time To Die screen reference. Omega’s current Bond release.
The same October 2026 release describes six Diver 300M watches drawing on Bond and Spectre designs. It distinguishes individually sold steel models from limited sets of 77, each containing a steel model and a platinum-gold model; the two watches in each set are not sold separately. Availability and product configurations can change, so consult Omega’s product information for current details.

How to identify a Bond Omega accurately
- Start with the film title: different films use different Seamaster families.
- For Casino Royale, account for both the Diver 300M and Planet Ocean.
- Treat exact older references as specialist-index identifications unless an official source confirms them.
- Separate screen identification from commemorative edition status and later design inspiration.
- For a current watch, compare its reference with the film identification rather than relying on Bond branding alone.
