Regé-Jean Page singled out the vintage Longines Feuille d’Or when asked about the brand’s older watches. What drew him in was the kind of history and story a vintage watch can carry—not a claim that he owns this particular model.
Which vintage Longines did Regé-Jean Page mention?
In an interview published by Time+Tide on 20 August 2024, Page recalled a particularly thin gold watch. He was initially unsure of its French name; a Longines team member helped him identify it as the Feuille d’Or. The interview is by Russell Sheldrake, who said he spoke with Page shortly before Royal Ascot earlier that year. Read the Time+Tide interview.
Page explained his interest this way: “But I’m an absolute sucker for a vintage watch, if something’s got a bit of history, a bit of story to it.” That describes his general attraction to vintage watches; the interview does not establish that he owns a Feuille d’Or.
What is the Longines Feuille d’Or?
Time+Tide describes the Feuille d’Or as a quartz watch released in 1979, a rebranded Concord Delirium with an ultra-thin movement made by Ebauches SA. The article also reports that it was the first wristwatch to measure under 2 mm thick. Those are the interview article’s historical and technical claims; they are not independently corroborated here.

The model’s thinness is central to why it stands out in Page’s recollection. The Feuille d’Or is not simply a vintage Longines name mentioned in passing: it is the specific gold watch he remembered when asked about the brand’s older models.
How does it differ from the Longines watches also mentioned?
The conversation also refers to two other Longines watches associated with Page: the HydroConquest GMT, described as his go-to Longines model, and a Conquest Chronograph he wore at Royal Ascot. Neither is the vintage watch he singled out. The Feuille d’Or was his answer about vintage models; the HydroConquest GMT and Conquest Chronograph provide separate contemporary context.

What to check if you are considering a Feuille d’Or
The interview does not give a reference number, price, current availability, or buying recommendation. If you find a listing, assess that individual watch rather than treating Page’s interest as an endorsement.
