What did the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 leak get right?
On June 5, 2025, Android Authority reported that images and specifications attributed to Xpertpick and tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore had surfaced ahead of the launch. Xiaomi later announced the Band 10 and published its own regional specifications, so the leak is best treated as historical preview coverage rather than a current announcement. The broad design and display picture was borne out: the released tracker has a 1.72-inch AMOLED touchscreen. But one specification changed in Xiaomi’s final listing: its battery is 233mAh, compared with the 230mAh figure reported in the leak. Xiaomi Australia’s official specifications
How large and bright is the display?
Xiaomi Australia lists a 1.72-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 212 × 520-pixel resolution and HBM brightness of 1,500 nits, with automatic brightness adjustment. Xiaomi Japan’s launch announcement additionally describes a 60Hz refresh rate, 326 pixels per inch and 2mm equal-width bezels. Does the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 really last 21 days?
Xiaomi advertises up to 21 days in normal or typical use, but that is a manufacturer-rated maximum under its stated test conditions, not a guaranteed result for every wearer. Xiaomi says battery testing was conducted in its internal labs and that real-world life varies with settings, operation and environment. The battery is 233mAh, and Xiaomi Australia estimates about one hour to charge it; that charging estimate is also based on internal-lab data and may vary. Xiaomi cautions that dimensions and weight can vary by configuration, manufacturing and measurement method. The shared listed hardware includes Bluetooth 5.4, an accelerometer, gyroscope, electronic compass, optical heart-rate sensor, pulse oximeter and ambient-light sensor. What fitness and health features does it offer?
Xiaomi Japan lists more than 150 sports modes, advanced swimming monitoring, underwater real-time heart-rate tracking, sleep guidance, heart-rate and blood-oxygen tracking, stress checks and menstrual-cycle tracking. These are activity and wellness features: Xiaomi says readings may be affected by multiple factors, are for reference, and the Band 10 is not a medical device or intended to predict, diagnose, prevent or cure disease. Can you swim with the Band 10?
Xiaomi Australia lists 5ATM water resistance, certified by TÜV SÜD based on ISO 22810:2010. Xiaomi says it can be worn in pools, near shore and for shallow-water activities, but not in hot showers, saunas or while diving. Water resistance is not permanent and may decrease over time. When did it launch, and what did it cost?
Xiaomi Japan announced sales from June 27, 2025, with launch suggested prices of ¥6,280 for the standard edition and ¥8,680 for the Ceramic Edition.
