What is the Superman Swiss Edition?
The Swiss Edition is YEMA’s modern interpretation of the 1970s Superman Ref. 53.00.16. Its defining cues include a straight-lug stainless-steel case, a classic-style dial and hands, and the Superman’s patented bezel-lock mechanism. YEMA Japan says the caseback has been redesigned for this version.
Fratello’s February 25, 2025 launch report described the watch as part of YEMA’s strategy of using Sellita movements in entry-level mechanical models while reserving attention elsewhere in the range for the brand’s in-house calibers. The dimensions above are not identical across all published descriptions. YEMA Japan’s March 17, 2025 announcement specifies a 39 mm case approximately 13 mm thick, including bezel and crystal. YEMA’s international product page offers 39 mm and 41 mm choices, and Fratello also reports both sizes. Check the regional listing for the specific size and configuration being offered.

Movement and Swiss production claim
The automatic Sellita SW200-1 is specified at 26 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and approximately 38 hours of power reserve. Those figures describe the listed movement; they do not establish the accuracy of an individual watch.
YEMA states that the Swiss series is manufactured and assembled by a partner in Biel/Bienne. Its product page says the partner is located in Biel, 70 km from YEMA’s workshops. This is YEMA’s description of its production arrangement, not independent verification.

Sizes, dials and bracelet
The 39 mm version is specified in YEMA Japan’s announcement; the international YEMA product page also presents a 41 mm option. The Japan announcement lists black, blue, white and brown dials, while Fratello describes black, white, blue and ecru. Because names and available combinations may differ by region, confirm the color and case size on the product page for your market.
YEMA Japan describes a brushed 316L three-link bracelet with a diver’s folding clasp and extension. The international listing also identifies a 316L steel bracelet with a diving extension.

How much does the YEMA Superman Swiss Edition cost?
There is no single price that applies across regions and dates. The cited figures are tied to different markets and moments:

Warranty and returns depend on where you buy
YEMA Japan’s announcement lists a two-year warranty. YEMA’s international product page describes a two-year international warranty from shipment and a 14-day return-request window. Those terms may depend on territory and purchase channel, so confirm the policy attached to the particular listing before ordering.
