The YEMA Navygraf Chrono is an automatic chronograph powered by an ETA Valjoux 7750, with day and date displays and a 0–60 bidirectional countdown bezel. For the blue reference, YEMA lists a 40 mm case, 13.9 mm thickness and 100 m water resistance. A Fratello writer’s November 2022 hands-on account offers historical impressions of its fit and controls; those observations are distinct from the current official specifications.
What the YEMA Navygraf Chrono is
YEMA presents the Navygraf Chrono as the first chronograph version of its Navygraf line, which the brand says dates to the early 1970s. Its official U.S. listing identifies the blue model as reference YNAV22CH.FR-GA32S. The dial uses a tri-compax arrangement and retains the Navygraf’s “exclamation point” markers, in the brand’s description.
The movement is an automatic ETA Valjoux 7750. YEMA lists hours, minutes, seconds, day, date and chronograph counters, with a 48-hour power reserve and a beat rate of 28,800 A/h. Its listed minimum rate is +/-15 seconds per day; that is the maker’s specification, not a result from an independent timing test.
Reading the chronograph layout
The three-register layout separates the chronograph counters from the ordinary time display. YEMA says the white hour and minute hands are for time reading and that the chronograph hands return to 12 o’clock when reset. The day and date add calendar functions alongside the stopwatch.

What the bezel is—and is not
YEMA specifies a bidirectional bezel with a 0–60 countdown graduation. It is not described as a conventional unidirectional professional dive bezel. The blue listing specifies luminous markers on the bezel as well as BGW9 Super-LumiNova on the dial hands and markers.

Does it have a screw-down crown?
The official listing calls it a pushed crown and does not describe it as screw-down. Its stated water-resistance rating is 100 m; do not infer a screw-down crown from that rating alone.
How the blue and black versions differed in 2022

That is a description of the variants in the 2022 coverage, not confirmation that both are currently sold. The current official listing establishes the blue reference; current availability of a black reference is not established here. Deschamps preferred the black-and-yellow version, a personal preference rather than a general verdict.

Deschamps wrote that the watch wore surprisingly well despite its 13.9 mm height, attributing the fit in part to downward-sloping lugs. He also reported a 49 mm lug-to-lug measurement in his 2022 article. That measurement is his article’s figure; YEMA’s current blue-model specification does not list lug-to-lug length. The impression is subjective and does not establish how the watch will fit every wrist.

He described the bezel action as purposeful and the chronograph pushers as snappy and responsive. He also questioned the polished case and recessed pushers as design choices. These are the impressions of one writer in that dated hands-on article, not independently reproduced evaluations.
Fratello’s article also discussed bracelet, FKM rubber and leather configurations at the time. YEMA’s current blue listing specifies a perforated leather strap, so the historical configurations should not be taken as confirmation of today’s options.

Price, stock and seller terms to verify
When accessed on October 3, 2026, YEMA’s U.S. page showed a $1,999 sale price and “LOW STOCK” for the blue reference. The page also displayed a two-year international warranty, a 14-day refund window after receipt and duty-paid U.S. delivery. These are time-sensitive U.S.-listing terms, not guarantees for another region or a later purchase.
