These are manufacturer-listed specifications on the Zelos product page, retrieved in 2026. Zelos does not give activity-specific swimming or diving guidance there, so the 50 m rating alone should not be treated as a promise of suitability for a particular water activity.
Movement and skeleton design
The watch uses a hand-wound Swiss Marvin 700 movement, visible through its skeletonised design. Zelos describes the movement as a 1960s calibre that it reworked and skeletonised for the Skyraider 40. The collection page says the move from the earlier 42 mm design to a 40 mm case required a new movement; the previous generation used an ETA 6498. This is Zelos’s account of the watch’s development, not an independent movement history.
Hand-winding means the wearer winds the watch rather than relying on an automatic rotor. That may appeal to someone who wants a visible mechanical movement and prefers a manually wound watch; it is less suited to a buyer specifically seeking automatic winding.

Case size, materials and strap fit
The 40 mm diameter and 46 mm lug-to-lug measurement describe different aspects of the case: diameter is its width, while lug-to-lug indicates how far it spans across the wrist. The 9.9 mm thickness includes the crystal; the 8.2 mm figure excludes it. Zelos specifies titanium for the case and bracelet, with a quick-adjust clasp on the bracelet.
The stated 20 mm lug width is a useful starting point when looking for a replacement strap, but width alone does not confirm compatibility. Check the attachment style and the exact watch version before ordering. Zelos’s collection page also mentions FKM rubber and titanium bracelet options, as well as strap configurations for other variants; do not assume every option fits this specific listing.

Zelos lists the Skyraider 40 Skeleton Titanium at $1,999 USD, while the official product listing currently says sold out. Treat that figure as the manufacturer’s page price, not as a live offer or evidence of what a reseller is charging. The page provides a notification signup for product updates.
Zelos says, “We do frequent drops of new colorways and models.” The Skyraider collection page also lists Arctic and Supernova titanium versions at $1,999 USD, and tantalum and Ti-Damascus versions at $2,499 USD. Those collection listings were also shown sold out when retrieved in 2026; they are line variations, not confirmed in-stock alternatives.
