What the A384 Revival is
Zenith introduced the A384 Revival in 2019, during the El Primero calibre’s 50th-anniversary year. In its 5 July 2019 announcement, the brand described the watch as a historically accurate recreation of the 1969 A384 and identified the original as one of the first watches to feature the El Primero. The current steel bracelet model covered here is reference 03.A384.400/21.M384. Zenith describes its design with a tonneau-shaped case, panda-style dial and steel ladder bracelet, drawing on the 1969 steel watch. The exact reference matters: Zenith has also issued an anniversary edition with a different specification.

How the 2019 anniversary edition differs
The 50th-anniversary edition is reference 03.A384.400/21.C815, not the M384 bracelet reference. Zenith’s 2019 product sheet lists a 37 mm case, 12.60 mm thickness, domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, transparent sapphire caseback and 10 ATM water resistance. That edition’s 10 ATM rating and other listed details belong to the C815 sheet; Zenith lists 5 ATM for the M384 product page. Match the reference number before comparing specifications, since shared A384 styling does not make every variant identical.
