Its defining feature is the El Primero 3600 movement’s central chronograph hand, which makes one revolution every 10 seconds to indicate tenths of a second. Zenith describes the edition as exclusive to its physical and online boutiques.
What makes this the Boutique Edition?
Zenith introduced the model as the first boutique-exclusive edition of the DEFY Skyline Chronograph. Its slate-grey dial is decorated with engraved gold-toned four-pointed stars, with gold-toned applied hour markers and hands. Three chronograph counters and a date display at 4:30 complete the dial layout. The official product page shortens the name to “DEFY SKYLINE CHRONO”; the full reference is 03.9500.3600/02.I001.
The steel case measures 42 mm across. Zenith specifies a screw-down crown and water resistance of 100 metres (10 ATM). Fratello gives additional case dimensions of 47.4 mm lug-to-lug and 12.7 mm thick; these are secondary-source figures.
How does the 1/10-second chronograph work?
The automatic El Primero 3600 calibre runs at 5 Hz, or 36,000 vibrations per hour, and has an approximately 60-hour power reserve. When the chronograph is running, its central hand completes one full revolution in 10 seconds. That faster sweep lets the dial indicate tenths of a second, rather than using a conventional central chronograph hand that takes a minute to circle the dial. The watch also has three counters for the chronograph display.
What comes with the watch?
The Boutique Edition is supplied with a steel bracelet and a black rubber strap patterned with stars and fitted with a folding clasp. Zenith’s integrated quick-change mechanism lets the wearer switch between the included options without tools. The published material does not establish compatibility with third-party straps.
Price and where to buy
Zenith’s Austria-localized product page displayed a price of €14,500 when checked on October 8, 2026. That is a time-sensitive, region-specific page price, not a universal price. Fratello reported a €13,900 launch price in September 2024; that figure is historical launch reporting, not a current quote.
Rank #2
Zenith’s September 10, 2024 release stated that the watch would be available exclusively through Zenith’s physical and online boutiques. Confirm current price and availability with a boutique in your region.
