The Zenith Defy Skyline Skeleton White Surfer Ceramic is a 100-piece collaboration with Time+Tide and the third, final watch in the brands’ Surfer Trilogy. Reference 49.9309.3620/85.I001 pairs a 41 mm white ceramic case and bracelet with a gradient-blue skeleton dial and Zenith’s high-frequency El Primero 3620 SK movement. Time+Tide’s US listing showed a price of US$19,600 and an “Out of stock” status on October 8, 2026; that listing does not establish stock at other authorized sellers.
What is the White Surfer Ceramic?
It is a limited-edition Defy Skyline made by Zenith with watch publication and retailer Time+Tide. Zenith identifies it as the third and final chapter of their Surfer Trilogy, with production limited to 100 pieces. The exact reference is 49.9309.3620/85.I001. The collaboration and edition details appear in Zenith’s official release and the Time+Tide US product listing.
What are its case and dial like?
The watch has a 41 mm white ceramic case, measuring 11.6 mm thick and 46.3 mm from lug to lug, according to Time+Tide’s launch coverage. Its openworked dial uses a gradient blue finish against the white exterior. The star-shaped bridges are treated with Super-LumiNova. A sapphire crystal protects the front, and a sapphire display back reveals the movement.
The case is rated to 10 ATM, or 100 metres, of water resistance. This is a stated watch specification, not a recommendation for any particular water activity; follow Zenith’s use and care guidance for the watch.

#1 Best Overall
- The sporty, free-sprung balance flying tourbillon watch, crafted by Swiss chief designer Etienne Ruffieux with modern architectural aesthetics, features an independently developed architectural tourbillon movement adorned with oversized ruby bearings. Its design philosophy is expressed through the interplay of light and shadow created by extreme skeletonization. This timepiece has been honored with the European International Design Award for its outstanding original design.
- Independently developed CAL9001 free-sprung balance flying tourbillon movement, manual winding, 28,880 vibrations per hour, 25 ruby bearings. Features high-end finishing including satin brushing and beveled edges, engraved brand logo with gold-stamped. Dual mainspring series technology delivers 80-hour power reserve (twice that of standard tourbillon movements). This technology ensures more uniform and gradual mainspring release, resulting in enhanced timekeeping precision and stability.
- The CAL9001 tourbillon movement features the exclusive free-sprung micro-adjustment technology typically reserved for luxury timepieces. This free-sprung system eliminates the need for a balance spring regulator, thereby overcoming the timing inaccuracies caused by regulator displacement in conventional mechanical movements. This ensures the watch delivers enhanced precision and stability in timekeeping.
- This tourbillon features a high-tech ceramic bezel. Ceramic resists discoloration and is harder than metal, protecting the watch from scratches. Weighing half as much as stainless steel, it reduces wrist strain for enhanced comfort.
- The watch is water-resistant to 50 meters. Featuring a double-sided sapphire crystal and an aerospace-grade fluororubber strap, it offers waterproof, sweat-resistant, and corrosion-resistant properties for comfortable and durable wear. Featuring Super-LumiNova Luminous hands and hour markers. We provide a 3-year worldwide warranty.
How does the El Primero 3620 SK work?
The automatic El Primero 3620 SK runs at 5 Hz, equivalent to 36,000 vibrations per hour, and has an approximately 55-hour power reserve. Zenith specifies a silicon escapement and hacking seconds. The dial displays central hours and minutes alongside a 1/10th-second indicator at 6 o’clock. Zenith says this indicator is driven directly by the escapement, linking the prominent subdial to the movement’s high operating frequency rather than treating it as a conventional small-seconds display. Specifications are listed by Zenith and Time+Tide.
What comes with the watch?
It is supplied with an integrated white ceramic bracelet and an additional white patterned rubber strap. Both use a quick-change mechanism that requires no tools, allowing the wearer to switch between the bracelet and strap without buying a separate conversion system. The supplied configuration is listed by Time+Tide and in Zenith’s release.

How much does it cost, and is it available?
Time+Tide’s US listing displayed US$19,600 and “Out of stock” when checked on October 8, 2026. This is a dated status for that retailer’s US listing, not confirmation that every authorized seller has sold through its allocation. Zenith’s release said the watch was offered through Time+Tide, authorized Zenith retailers and Zenith boutiques at launch; it does not confirm present inventory.
Time+Tide’s launch article recorded launch prices of US$19,600, £17,700, CHF 18,900, €20,500 and A$30,300. These are launch figures, not a current price survey or a guarantee of what a seller will charge now.
