Which model makes more sense for you?
Choose the S5e for a simpler display
The S5e is the more direct option if you want an automatic watch with small seconds rather than chronograph controls and subdials. Its reported case thickness is 12.2 mm, compared with 13.4 mm for the S6e, while both are reported at 42 mm across and 47 mm lug-to-lug. If thickness is a deciding fit factor, verify the dimensions with Zero West before ordering because the figures available here come from a secondary overview.
Choose the S6e for chronograph timing
The S6e is the one to consider if you specifically want a chronograph. Its reported Sellita SW500BVc movement has a 62-hour reserve, versus 42 hours reported for the S5e’s SW261-1. Its blue, instrument-inspired dial makes the two watches visually distinct, and Zero West says the S6e uses Merlin engine steel associated with Spitfire AA810 and that only 100 pieces will exist. Those are the manufacturer’s claims on its S6e campaign page; the edition limit is not a guarantee that a particular variant is currently available.

Manufacturer strap pairing
Zero West recommends its Heritage Green FKM rubber strap for the S5e and Classic Blue for the S6e. The brand states that the strap tapers from 22 mm at the lug end to 20 mm at the buckle. Warranty coverage
Zero West’s published warranty covers movement and component failure for 24 months, subject to exclusions including wear and tear, misuse and tampering. The company separately gives leather straps a 12-month failure guarantee.
