The Zodiac × Worn & Wound Super Sea Wolf Laser Tag watches are two 2023 limited editions designed to change under ordinary light, blacklight and darkness. Both use a dark-gray-plated 40 mm case rated to 200 m; the choice is chiefly between the purple-and-mint Ultraviolet and scarlet-and-pink Infrared colorways, plus their different light effects.

Announced September 28, 2023, the collaboration applies a laser-tag-inspired palette and photoreactive detailing to the Super Sea Wolf. The design extends beyond the dial: the bezel, strap, case and packaging also have details intended to respond to blacklight. Worn & Wound’s announcement describes how the appearance shifts across different lighting conditions.
Ultraviolet vs. Infrared: what is different?
The two versions share the stated case size and water-resistance rating, but use distinct colors and variant-specific hand and lume colors.

For a straightforward choice, start with which palette you prefer in daylight. If you expect to use a blacklight or see the watch in darkness, the different hand and lume colors may also matter; the announcement does not enumerate those colors in enough detail to make a precise color-by-color comparison here.

In ordinary light
The dark-gray-plated case is described as dark gray, not black. Milled channels in the case are filled with luminous material and appear white in ordinary light. The straps carry a crisscrossing laser-light-show pattern that is subtle in daylight.
Under blacklight
Hidden lines on the dial become visible, along with details including the crosshair center, chapter ring, hands, markers, bezel pip, case lines and crown logo. The strap pattern brightens, and the packaging ink also glows. These effects are described as part of the product design; the announcement does not say that a blacklight is included.

In darkness
The hands, markers, bezel and case retain visible lume, with the milled case lines glowing blue. More subtle textures fade from view, so the watch’s appearance is not simply the same blacklight effect without the lamp.

How limited were the editions?
Worn & Wound reported an announced production quantity of 282 pieces per color on September 28, 2023. That figure describes the editions’ stated production limit, not how many remain available or their current resale value.
