The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch and Bulova Lunar Pilot are the clearest choices if you want a space-themed watch with a documented lunar connection. Other watches borrow from spaceflight, astronomy, or mission imagery, but styling and collaborations are not the same as a watch’s documented flight history. This is a curated shortlist—not a verified ranking of ten currently available models—because the available sources establish only a few exact product references.
What makes a watch “space-themed”?
The label covers several different things: a model with documented spaceflight history, a modern line inspired by that history, a design built around astronomy or space imagery, or a commemorative or licensed collaboration. Those categories are not interchangeable. A space motif alone does not mean a watch was issued by NASA, qualified for flight, or worn in space.
The distinction matters most when comparing the two strongest history-linked examples in this list: Omega’s Speedmaster Moonwatch and Bulova’s Lunar Pilot. Their modern products should not be mistaken for the individual watches used on historic missions.
Top 10 space-themed watches to know
This list puts the best-supported history-linked models first, then identifies additional candidates as design or collaboration leads. The latter appeared in a 2024 Watchfinder & Co. discovery video; that video is not proof of present availability, exact references, or spaceflight credentials.

1. Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional
Space connection: Documented NASA qualification and lunar-wear history. Omega reports that NASA declared the Speedmaster “Flight Qualified for all Manned Space Missions” on March 1, 1965. In a separate 2024 product release, Omega says the Moonwatch has been officially worn by NASA astronauts since 1965 and is known as the first watch worn on the Moon. These are distinct claims: qualification in 1965 is not itself the same event as lunar wear. Omega’s 2025 account of the NASA qualification; Omega’s 2024 Moonwatch release.
Format and size: The current Moonwatch Professional is a 42 mm stainless-steel product family. Configurations vary, so check the exact reference and whether it comes on a strap or bracelet.
Why consider it: Choose it if a direct link to NASA’s crewed-spaceflight history and the Moon is your priority. It is the clearest anchor in this shortlist for a buyer who means “a watch with a documented space connection,” not merely a space-inspired dial.
2. Bulova Lunar Pilot Black Hole (98A335)
Space connection: A present-day product line inspired by Bulova’s Apollo 15 heritage. Bulova says a Bulova chronograph was worn on the Moon on August 2, 1971, during Apollo 15; that statement comes from the brand’s own product copy. The modern Lunar Pilot Black Hole is not the exact original flight watch. Bulova’s official 98A335 listing.

Format and size: Bulova describes this model as a 41 mm high-precision quartz watch with 100 m water resistance. The listing calls it a limited edition, but current production and availability should be checked with the brand or seller rather than assumed from that label.
Why consider it: It combines a clear space-inspired identity with a smaller stated case diameter than the 43.5 mm Lunar Pilot variant below. Case diameter alone does not determine fit; wrist shape, lug dimensions, and strap or bracelet also matter.
3. Bulova Lunar Pilot (96K115)
Space connection: A current Lunar Pilot variant whose heritage Bulova ties to the chronograph worn during Apollo 15. As with the Black Hole, the modern watch is a product inspired by that history, not the original mission watch. Bulova’s official 96K115 listing.
Format and size: Bulova describes the 96K115 as a 43.5 mm stainless-steel watch with a high-precision quartz movement. That larger stated diameter makes it a different wearing proposition from the 41 mm Black Hole; try the exact reference if fit is a deciding factor.

4. Breitling Navitimer B02 Chronograph 41 Cosmonaute
Space connection: A candidate in Watchfinder & Co.’s 2024 space-watch discovery list. The video is a secondary discovery source, not sufficient evidence here to establish a particular reference’s mission history, specifications, or current availability. Watchfinder & Co.’s 2024 video.
What to verify: Before treating it as more than a space-associated design or name, check the exact reference against Breitling’s current information and authoritative mission records.
5. Fortis Novonaut
Space connection: Included among the additional candidates named by Watchfinder & Co. in 2024. The surfaced source does not verify an exact model reference, current availability, or a specific flight credential. Watchfinder & Co.’s 2024 video.

- Timeless styling that effortlessly takes you from work to play.
- Analog Month/Day/Date, Moonphase Indicator

What to verify: Check the exact watch and the evidence behind any claim of space use or qualification; the name alone does not establish either.
6. Citizen Tsuki-Yomi moon-phase
Space connection: A moon-phase design included in Watchfinder & Co.’s 2024 discovery list. A lunar display is an astronomy-related theme, not evidence that the watch flew in space. The video does not establish an exact reference or current availability. Watchfinder & Co.’s 2024 video.
7. Citizen Attesa HAKUTO-R collaboration
Space connection: A collaboration named in Watchfinder & Co.’s 2024 list. It belongs in the collaboration category unless an exact model’s own documentation supports a stronger claim. The video does not establish current availability or specific flight credentials. Watchfinder & Co.’s 2024 video.
8. G-Shock DW6900NASA237
Space connection: A NASA-associated design candidate in Watchfinder & Co.’s 2024 list. A NASA name or visual collaboration does not, by itself, mean a watch was NASA-issued or flight-qualified. The video does not confirm present availability or technical details. Watchfinder & Co.’s 2024 video.

10. Xeric Mission to Earth
Space connection: A space-themed design candidate in Watchfinder & Co.’s 2024 list. The name and theme are not evidence of mission use, and the cited video does not establish current availability or a particular reference. Watchfinder & Co.’s 2024 video.
Other leads: The same video also names the Nubeo Apollo Automatic Limited Edition, Omega Speedmaster Automatic Reduced, and Omega x Swatch MoonSwatch. They are omitted from the numbered ten rather than presented as independently verified current picks: the source does not establish exact current references, availability, or space credentials for them.

If mission history matters most
Start with the Moonwatch or Lunar Pilot, and read the claim at the right level. Omega’s 1965 NASA qualification and its separate statement about lunar wear concern the Speedmaster’s history; Bulova’s Apollo 15 statement concerns a Bulova chronograph worn on the Moon. Neither statement means every modern variant is the exact watch used on a mission.

A moon-phase display, mission-inspired graphics, or a licensed collaboration may be the better match. Treat those as design choices unless documentation for the exact reference supports a stronger historical claim.
Quick Recap
Check reference, fit, and availability before buying
- Confirm the full model name and reference number; names can cover multiple configurations.
- Compare the stated case diameter—42 mm for the Omega Moonwatch family, 41 mm for Bulova 98A335, and 43.5 mm for Bulova 96K115—without assuming diameter alone predicts fit.
- Verify the movement, water resistance, strap or bracelet, and any limited-edition status on the current brand or retailer listing for the specific watch.
- For any spaceflight or qualification claim beyond the two best-supported examples here, look for authoritative documentation tied to the exact model rather than relying on a retailer roundup or a themed name.
