How the Eco-Drive movement works
The Suratto uses Citizen caliber G872, a quartz movement powered by light. Citizen says the watch does not require battery changes; its European specification gives a power reserve of up to 210 days. That reserve is a published maximum, not a guarantee of identical performance in every wearer’s lighting conditions.

Citizen Europe lists accuracy at ±15 seconds per month. The watch has two hands, so it does not display seconds; its design favors a clean dial over the extra indication some buyers want for precise timing.

Citizen Europe’s overview also lists a stainless-steel case, screw-down case back, up to 3 bar water resistance, and up to 210 days of power reserve. The US page describes 30 m water resistance. Model suffixes are not interchangeable across regions: the blue European reference is AR3120-24L, while Citizen US and Canada list the blue Suratto as AR3120-08L. Verify the dial, strap, and reference on the seller’s own listing before ordering.
Is the Suratto actually affordable?
Citizen Europe lists four named launch variants at €299. Citizen US showed the AR3120-08L at $316, reduced from $395, and Citizen Canada showed it at CA $420, against CA $525, when those pages were accessed. Those are region-specific manufacturer listings and promotional snapshots, not a global price, a guaranteed current sale, or proof of the lowest street price.
