Apple’s claims about noise cancellation and battery
Apple claimed that AirPods Pro 3 offered up to twice as effective active noise cancellation as AirPods Pro 2 and up to eight hours of music playback with ANC enabled—a claimed 33 percent increase over the previous generation. Fit and design claims

Apple also reported that its design process drew on more than 10,000 ear scans and more than 100,000 hours of user research. Those figures describe Apple’s own research process; they do not establish that the fit will suit every wearer.

What the rumors did not establish
Pre-launch coverage discussed temperature sensing and a possible H3 chip. Announcement-day reporting noted that Apple did not announce temperature sensing or mention H3.
