What is the Alchemists Cu29?
The Cu29 is a mechanical watch from Alchemists Mechanical Healing S.A. Master Horologer describes it as the introductory piece in the company’s three-watch trilogy. A Limited Edition search excerpt also calls it the first watch in the trilogy and “Chapter One.” That supports reading Chapter One as series context, not as a verified formal model name. There are multiple Cu29 versions, and later coverage describes a distinct Creative Act II edition. Details such as dial treatment and movement presentation can vary by version, so a specification should be tied to the particular edition being discussed rather than assumed to apply identically to every Cu29.

What movement and display does the Cu29 have?
Master Horologer reports that the AC 003 is a hand-wound manufacture calibre with 362 components and 56 jewels. It runs at 3 Hz, uses a variable-inertia balance and a blued cylindrical balance spring, and has a stated 72-hour power reserve. Power reserve and controls
The 72-hour reserve is the stated running time after winding; the watch also has a peripheral power-reserve indicator. A function selector chooses between winding and setting. The display includes hours and minutes plus subsidiary seconds.

Creative Act II movement presentation
In its 2021 coverage of Creative Act II, Monochrome describes two barrels, hand-finishing, an openworked seconds display, and a blue power-reserve pointer beneath a bulbous, super-domed sapphire crystal. It also reports 362 components, 56 jewels, a 3 Hz frequency, and a 72-hour reserve for that edition. What is the Cuprum 479 case made from?
Watch coverage identifies Cuprum 479 as an alloy made mostly of copper with some gold. The case measures 44 mm across and 15.40 mm thick, including the domed sapphire crystal. Alchemists’ rationale for using the alloy includes a historical wellness concept involving contact between the metal and the wearer’s skin. What strap fits the Cu29?
Master Horologer lists a 20 mm lug width and a matte black alligator-leather strap with a Cuprum pin buckle. A replacement strap advertised as 20 mm wide is a reasonable starting point, but width alone does not confirm compatibility: check the exact strap length, thickness, attachment style, and buckle dimensions against the specific watch before ordering. What did Creative Act II cost, and how limited was it?
Monochrome reported on 13 April 2021 that Creative Act II was limited to five watches, with each made by one watchmaker, and priced at CHF 163,000.
