The Andreas Strehler Faune et Flore is a bespoke Swiss watch collection in which hand engraving is incorporated into the movement architecture. Rather than choosing from fixed catalogue designs, clients discuss an engraving subject and the watch’s details with Andreas Strehler and engraver Roman Houdek; the watches are built on request. The maker’s product page lists a starting price of CHF 165,000, excluding VAT and local taxes.
What makes Faune et Flore distinctive?
Faune et Flore brings together watchmaking and hand engraving. According to Andreas Strehler’s official product page, the engraved gold butterfly bridge is integrated into the movement, making the engraving part of the watch’s construction rather than a separate decoration added to a finished watch. The maker credits Roman Houdek for the engraving and says the work is done in its Sirnach, Switzerland workshop.
The collection’s name refers to its nature-inspired subjects. The maker shows two examples, but describes them as illustrations of possible designs, not as a complete set of fixed models.

This example depicts a garden scene. Its name means “Garden of Butterflies.”

Étang des Koï
This example takes its subject from a koi pond; “Étang des Koï” means “Koi Pond.”
Other subjects can be discussed with the maker, subject to artistic and technical limits. The finished design and watch details are agreed among the customer, the engraver, and Andreas Strehler.

The official Faune et Flore product page lists a starting price of CHF 165,000, excluding VAT and local taxes. The page does not say when that price took effect, so treat it as the maker’s current page listing rather than a dated price announcement. The final quote and any taxes depend on the commission and buyer’s circumstances; confirm both directly with the maker.

Andreas Strehler’s bespoke page says customers discuss watch details directly with Andreas Strehler and the team, and that watches are built on request. Collection from the Swiss workshop is offered by the maker. It lists German, English, and French as languages spoken. These are the manufacturer’s stated arrangements, not a guarantee of timing, delivery terms, or availability.
