It is not identical to the original 2024 Greenwich Edition: the current listing specifies a Sellita SW200-1 Élaboré movement and a unidirectional 60-minute bezel, while 2024 coverage of the original described an ETA 2824-2 and a bidirectional bezel.
What is the Model 60 Greenwich MKII?
Aquastar presents the Greenwich Edition MKII as a green-dial variant of its Model 60. The brand says the Model 60 commemorates its first wristwatch, which it dates to 1962, and describes the modern collection as carrying forward design cues with updated movement and construction. That is Aquastar’s account of its own history and design lineage.
The current official listing describes a glossy green dial and a 316L stainless-steel case. It identifies the watch as a 100-piece limited edition with a hand-numbered case back. Its configuration, rather than the original 2024 release, is the relevant one when assessing a watch offered as the MKII.

How does the MKII differ from the original 2024 Greenwich Edition?
The shared Model 60 dimensions and 200 m water-resistance rating can make the two releases seem interchangeable, but their movements, bezels, and included straps differ. Fratello Watches’ March 20, 2024 article covered the original Greenwich Edition; Aquastar’s current product page describes the MKII.

- Solar powered quartz movement helps reduce frequent battery replacement.

- Luminous hands and markers improve readability in dark or low-light conditions.
- Durable case and mineral glass are built for outdoor and everyday wear.
- WATCH SIZE & WRIST FIT: Features a 45.8 mm (1.80 in) case diameter and a 51.4 mm (2.02 in) lug-to-lug length. The adjustable 24 mm silicone strap accommodates wrists up to 230 mm (9.1 in). Measure your wrist and check the case dimensions before ordering, especially if you have a smaller wrist.
What does the bezel and movement change mean?
Unidirectional versus bidirectional bezel
The original release’s reported bidirectional 120-click bezel could be turned either way. The MKII’s listed unidirectional elapsed-time bezel turns in one direction. For timing elapsed time, a unidirectional bezel is designed so an accidental bump moves the marker toward a shorter indicated interval rather than a longer one. The present listing specifies the MKII’s direction and ceramic-bearing construction, but does not give a click count.
ETA 2824-2 versus Sellita SW200-1 Élaboré
The original Greenwich Edition was reported with an ETA 2824-2 and a 38-hour power reserve. The MKII listing names a Sellita SW200-1 Élaboré but does not state a power-reserve figure. Do not carry the original’s 38-hour figure over to the MKII: the cited evidence establishes it only for the original configuration.

Is the Model 60 Greenwich comfortable on a smaller wrist?
The listed 37 mm diameter and 47 mm lug-to-lug length are useful starting points for comparing the watch with one that already fits you. Case diameter alone does not determine wrist feel: lug shape, the strap, and how the watch sits all matter. The current listing gives an 11 mm height and 20 mm lug width, but those dimensions cannot establish comfort for every wrist.
Aquastar’s product page includes individual buyer reviews. One verified buyer, Henry Kupperman, wrote on July 12, 2026, “Great watch. Keeps great time. Very luminous in the dark. I love the smaller size.” That is one owner’s impression, not a measured timekeeping result or a fit guarantee.

How water resistant is the Model 60 Greenwich?
Aquastar lists the MKII at 200 m water resistance. That rating is a specification, not a report of an independent underwater test. The cited sources provide no controlled test results for this watch, so the rating alone should not be read as a guarantee of performance for a particular activity or an individual watch. Follow the manufacturer’s guidance and ensure the watch is in appropriate condition before exposing it to water.
What is the current Greenwich Edition price?
Aquastar’s official listing displayed $1,290 for the MKII when accessed October 8, 2026. The symbol is shown without a currency code in the cited listing. Price, stock, warranty, and shipping terms can change; consult Aquastar’s page for the terms currently offered. The $990 pre-order and US$1,390 regular prices reported by Fratello apply to the original 2024 release, not the MKII.
