The Arcanaut ARC II D’Arc Roast is a limited-edition automatic watch with a dial made from ground coffee beans bound into a machinable composite—not a coffee product. Arcanaut lists a Swiss-made Soprod M100 movement, 100 m water resistance and a production limit of 33 pieces. Its product page currently says “Sold out,” though it also describes made-to-order timing, so check with Arcanaut or a retailer for current availability.
What is the Arcanaut ARC II D’Arc Roast?
The D’Arc Roast is a 40.52 mm stainless-steel watch in Arcanaut’s ARC II line. Its defining feature is a brown dial made with ground coffee. The coffee is incorporated into a proprietary composite for its appearance and construction; it is not solid coffee, edible, or a functional coffee-related feature.
Arcanaut says the colorway is intended to evoke “Hygge,” a Scandinavian concept the maker describes as cosiness and comfortable conviviality. That is the brand’s design intent, expressed through the brown dial, bronze-toned hands and cream-colored luminous indexes.
How is the coffee dial made?
Arcanaut says freshly ground coffee is mixed with a UV-resistant binding agent to make a plate of material that can be machined. The plate is then CNC-machined into the dial. The maker describes the result as a ground-coffee-bean composite, not a dial made of unbound coffee.

The reverse uses Arcanaut’s Glowpatch caseback: a multi-component construction with three gaskets, a sapphire crystal and an engraved, luminous coffee-cup medallion. Arcanaut states the watch’s water resistance as 100 metres.

How many D’Arc Roast watches were made?
Arcanaut states that the edition is limited to 33 pieces. Time+Tide’s introduction to the model, published on 20 February 2025, also describes 33 individually numbered examples. The production limit is not a count of watches currently available to buy.
Price and availability
Arcanaut’s product page currently displays “Sold out.” The same page includes made-to-order information saying orders are assembled in chronological order of payment confirmation and giving an estimated completion time of 4–6 weeks. Those statements do not establish whether Arcanaut is accepting new orders now. Check the live product page or contact the maker before relying on stock or a delivery estimate.

The page shows €4,000 excluding VAT and tariffs, including delivery, as well as a €4,360 sale-price display. It also says destination taxes and duties vary. For the United States, Arcanaut describes DDP shipping but notes that local sales or use tax may still apply. Confirm the live checkout total and tax treatment for your destination rather than treating either displayed figure as a guaranteed current price.
Collective Horology has a listing marked “special order,” and Arcanaut names Collective Horology, INDP Watches and Time+Tide among places to buy its watches. These are leads to verify directly, not confirmation that this model is in stock.

What comes with the watch?
Arcanaut says the watch is supplied in a tobacco leather watch roll and includes a strap-change tool. A separate watch roll is therefore an optional extra for carrying additional watches or for other travel needs, not a required purchase. The available information does not establish a specific tool size or compatibility with other straps.
