What is the CODE 11.59 Shades of Grey watch?
It is the CODE 11.59 Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon Chronograph, reference 26399NB.OO.D009KB.01. The “Shades of Grey” description refers to its subdued grey-and-black appearance, not to a separately identified new movement. Audemars Piguet describes the 41 mm case as a combination of 18-carat white gold and black ceramic. Its movement architecture contrasts black and anthracite grey with pink-gold accents. What movement and chronograph does it use?
WatchPro identifies the movement as self-winding Calibre 2952. It reports a 65-hour power reserve and a flyback chronograph, which allows the chronograph to be reset and restarted in one operation rather than requiring a separate stop before restarting. The report describes transparent 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters at 9 and 3 o’clock, respectively. How are the dial and finishing arranged?
The grey-and-black treatment keeps the openworked movement architecture in view, with rhodium-toned bridges and polished pink-gold hands, as described by WatchPro. The open sapphire caseback provides a view of the movement from the rear as well. This is a visually complex chronograph display: the transparent counters reveal the construction beneath rather than presenting as conventional solid subdials.

What are the strap and water-resistance details?
WatchPro describes a dark grey rubber-coated strap finished with an 18-carat white-gold folding clasp. Hypebeast reported water resistance up to 30 metres in 2024; that figure is secondary-source reporting, rather than a specification confirmed here from Audemars Piguet’s official product details. Hypebeast’s 2024 report is the source for the water-resistance figure.
