It pairs a jumping-hour display with a pink-gold-and-sapphire rectangular case and the brand’s first selfwinding jumping-hour movement, Calibre 7122.
How the Neo Frame’s jumping-hour display works
A jumping-hour watch replaces the usual hour hand with a numeral visible through an aperture. On the Neo Frame, that numeral changes once each hour; a separate aperture displays the minutes. The result is a different way to read the time, not a conventional dial with hands hidden beneath the surface.
Audemars Piguet traces the jumping-hour tradition to 1650 and connects the Neo Frame to its own work on jumping-hour watches in the 1920s. The brand’s Director of Museum and Heritage, Sébastian Vivas, describes the modern sapphire construction as a reinterpretation of an earlier design constraint: “The Neo Frame Jumping Hour is a nod to Audemars Piguet’s pioneering role in developing the first jumping hour watches in the 1920s. Back then, the glass was so fragile that it had to be protected by metal. Today, it is rendered in sapphire, which takes centre stage.” Audemars Piguet’s Neo Frame collection page presents the watch in that historical and design context.
Design and construction
The Neo Frame combines a pink-gold case with sapphire and a black sapphire dial. A textured calfskin strap completes the watch. Audemars Piguet links its design language to 1930s elegance and Streamline design, giving the rectangular form a retro-futuristic character rather than a conventional round-watch silhouette.

Movement and specifications
Calibre 7122 is, according to Audemars Piguet, the company’s first selfwinding movement with a jumping-hour display. AP gives the movement a 52-hour power reserve. The official model reference is 15245OR.OO.A206VE.01.
Hodinkee’s February 3, 2026 launch report lists the following detailed measurements and movement figures. The figures are attributed to that report, not independently verified here. Hodinkee said the initially published measurements were later updated after AP provided dimensions using a method it considered more representative of rectangular watches.

These dimensions help describe the case, but the 47.1 mm lug-to-lug figure is especially useful to check against the wearer’s wrist because the watch is rectangular. The reported 20 m water resistance is a modest rating; it should not be read as a claim that the watch is suited to swimming.
Presentation, reported launch pricing and availability
Audemars Piguet Japan’s announcement says the watch was presented on February 3, 2026, at the AP Social Club in Andermatt. The Japanese announcement documents the presentation.

Launch coverage reported different prices for different markets: Hodinkee listed $71,200, while Time and Watches listed €65,400. These are separate reported launch prices, not a single worldwide price or confirmation of what a buyer would pay today.
Hodinkee reported planned availability at Audemars Piguet boutiques and AP Houses starting in June 2026. That planned start date does not establish current stock. - Display: whether a jumping hour and separate minute aperture suit how you read time.

The available launch information establishes the Neo Frame’s specifications and positioning, but not a full competitor comparison. Its unusual display and shaped case make direct wrist-fit and legibility comparisons particularly important.
