Split-seconds timing
A split-seconds chronograph, also called a rattrapante, uses two chronograph hands that can start together. One hand can be stopped to record an intermediate time while the other continues; the stopped hand can then catch up with the moving hand. Case, dial and strap design
The material combination is central to this Concept model: AP specifies a Chroma Forged Technology forged-carbon case with blue accents that glow in the dark, framed by black ceramic for the bezel, crown, pushers and caseback. The skeletonized dial exposes an openworked look, with blue accents, contrasting counters and luminous-coated white-gold hands and indices. The chronograph and split-seconds hands are titanium.
