Reference 26315 is a 38 mm Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph introduced in 2019. Audemars Piguet’s official page identifies the pink-gold 26315OR as a 38 mm model; the launch report documents three versions and their dial treatments.
- 26315OR.OO.1256OR.01: 18-carat pink gold, silver-toned Grande Tapisserie dial and pink/gold-toned counters.
- 26315ST.OO.1256ST.01: stainless steel, silver-toned dial and blue counters.
- 26315ST.OO.1256ST.02: stainless steel, ruthenium-toned dial and rhodium-toned counters.
AP describes the pink-gold model’s dial as redesigned to reinforce legibility. The variants share the 26315 identity and movement; case material and dial/counter colors distinguish them.

The 2019 report’s prose gives a different reserve figure—42 hours—than its own technical table, which lists 40 hours. The table figure is used here for consistency with the reported specification data; the discrepancy is worth noting when comparing listings.

Price: launch figures, not a current quote
Monochrome Watches reported launch-era prices of EUR 24,200 for the stainless-steel versions and EUR 53,500 for the pink-gold version in its 2019 coverage. These are historical launch prices, not current Audemars Piguet retail prices or estimates of today’s resale value.
AP’s captured US product page for the 26315OR confirms the reference and case size, but its dynamic price fields do not provide a usable current price. Current regional pricing and orderability for the variants are therefore not established here. The launch report described all three as boutique exclusive at the time; that does not establish present availability or rule out secondhand listings.

How to compare a 26315 listing
For a genuine comparison, first match the complete reference number rather than relying on a broad “Royal Oak Chronograph 38mm” label. Then compare the details that can materially change the watch and the deal:
- Variant: verify steel or pink gold, then confirm the dial and counter colors against the reference suffix.
- Generation: check that the watch is a 26315. Similar-size Royal Oak chronographs can belong to different generations and use different movements.
- Fit and condition: use the 38 mm diameter and 11 mm thickness as the reported case dimensions, and assess the individual watch’s condition and provenance.
- Movement: the 26315 is specified with calibre 2385. Do not assume another 38 mm Royal Oak chronograph shares it.
- Price basis: keep a dated boutique quote, if available, separate from a secondary-market asking price. Compare condition, provenance and warranty along with the number.
Do not confuse the 26315 with the newer 26450
Audemars Piguet’s page for ref. 26450ST.OO.1356ST.01-B describes a newer 38 mm Royal Oak chronograph with calibre 6401 and a sapphire caseback. Those are generation-specific details for the 26450, not specifications for the 26315, which uses calibre 2385. A 38 mm case alone is not enough to identify the reference.
