The Bamford D-300 is an automatic dive watch with a manufacturer-stated 300 m water-resistance rating, a 42 mm ceramic case with an inner titanium core, and a 120-click unidirectional bezel. The range includes five color and finish options; Bamford’s collection page listed each at £1,800 when reviewed. One detail to confirm before buying is the movement: D-300 listings name either an ETA 2824-2 or a Sellita SW200, depending on the listing or configuration.
What is the Bamford D-300?
The D-300 is Bamford London’s automatic dive-watch collection. Its defining combination is a ceramic exterior, titanium components, a rubber strap and a claimed 300 m / 30 ATM / 1000 ft water resistance. The figures and construction details below are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.
Bamford’s D-300 collection presents five color and finish variants. Time+Tide’s January 29, 2025 launch coverage also describes the D-300 as a new dive-watch line and reports the two movement options.

Specifications are from Bamford’s Matte Black Ceramic product page. The available source material does not identify a water-resistance certification standard or provide independent pressure-test results. Treat 300 m as the brand’s stated rating.
Which movement does the D-300 use?
Bamford’s black-model page names the ETA 2824-2, while other official D-300 variant pages list either the ETA 2824-2 or Sellita SW200. Independent launch coverage also reports both. This supports configuration variation, not a single movement guaranteed across every watch.

Warranty descriptions vary by source. Bamford’s collection page describes a two-year international warranty with an additional year after registration. A Harrods US listing states a three-year manufacturer warranty. Check the terms that apply to the exact seller, market and purchase; these descriptions should not be assumed to be interchangeable.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is the D-300 a credible dive-watch proposition?
On paper, its dive-watch features include a unidirectional elapsed-time bezel, luminous hands and indices, a screw-down crown, and Bamford’s stated 300 m rating. The case’s ceramic exterior and titanium components are also clearly specified. That establishes the advertised feature set, but the available product information does not establish independent water-resistance testing or certification.

For a practical comparison with another dive watch, compare the case diameter and thickness, case and bezel materials, exact movement, stated water resistance and crown construction, bezel action and legibility, included strap and lug width, and the price and warranty offered in your market. A 22 mm lug width alone does not confirm compatibility with any particular replacement strap, clasp or aftermarket part.
