How did BWD move from customization into collaborations?
BWD’s story begins with individual personalization, then develops into work associated with established watch brands. In a 2017 report, WatchPro reported that BWD became an authorized customization partner for Zenith and Bulgari in early 2017. A later report said TAG Heuer joined in October 2017. The reporting also described restrictions on customization and sales involving brands without an official partnership. These are historical accounts, not proof of the current status or terms of any named relationship.
Collaborations remain part of BWD’s public identity. In 2025, its official site listed a Seiko and Bamford limited edition among its recent news. Separately, Country Life reported a 350-piece Bamford Watch Department and Girard-Perregaux Deep Diver limited edition, based on a 1969 design. Those examples show collaboration activity; they do not establish present-day stock.

What is Bamford London?
Bamford London is the own-brand watch label, distinct from BWD’s customization service and its partner collaborations. The Bamford London about page describes the brand as an evolution from bespoke customization into a British watch brand. Its storefront displays the Heritage GMT and other collections. Product listings, prices and availability can change, so check the current listing directly rather than relying on an older search result.
