What is the Baume & Mercier Riviera Chronograph 41mm series?
Riviera chronographs belong to Baume & Mercier’s Riviera collection, which dates to 1973 and is known for its twelve-sided, or dodecagonal, design. The brand describes the collection as having “its iconic dodecagonal design” on its official Riviera collection page.
“Riviera 41 mm Chronograph” is not enough to identify one exact watch. The catalog includes multiple references with different dial treatments, straps and chronograph functions. Use the full reference—such as M0A10826—when comparing specifications, checking stock or buying a strap.

How do the 10826 and 10825 differ?
Dial and bracelet
The 10826 has a blue wave-pattern dial and an interchangeable steel bracelet. The 10825 has a black dial. These are distinct visual options; confirm the bracelet or strap included with the exact listing rather than assuming accessories are shared across references.
Case measurement discrepancy on the 10825
The official 10825 page says 41 mm in its product copy but lists 42 mm in its case table. Because the same page conflicts, a definitive diameter is not established by that listing. Ask Baume & Mercier or an authorized retailer to confirm the measurement for M0A10825 before relying on it.

Specifications for the 10826
The official 10826 listing specifies a 41 mm case, 13.94 mm thickness, automatic self-winding chronograph, 48-hour reserve, 4 Hz frequency, 25 jewels and 10 ATM water resistance. Those figures belong to the 10826 and should not be generalized to every Riviera chronograph.
Is the Riviera 10828 a flyback chronograph?
Yes. Baume & Mercier identifies the 10828 as a flyback chronograph in its launch material. A flyback function is not established for every watch in the 41 mm chronograph family: the 10827, for example, is identified as a conventional chronograph variant. The 10828 launch description gives a gold-toned vertically brushed dial, telemeter and tachymeter scales, a 42-hour power reserve and a limited run of 73 pieces. The edition count describes the launch, not present availability.

Power reserve and water resistance: what can you rely on?
Published values are reference-specific. The 10826 page lists 48 hours and 10 ATM; the 10825 page states 48 hours and 10 ATM in its copy, though its diameter is inconsistent; and the 10865 page specifies a 48-hour reserve and 10 ATM. The 10828 launch material gives a 42-hour reserve. Do not infer a reserve, water-resistance rating or movement for another reference from these examples; check its own current product documentation.
Which rubber strap fits the Riviera 10826?
The 10826 product page lists these compatible rubber strap references: MXE0RQNC, MXE0PJ2C, MXE0PBL6, MXE0PBL7 and MXE0NB42. Confirm compatibility against the full watch reference and the accessory listing before ordering. A strap described as fitting a Riviera is not necessarily compatible with every Riviera case or reference.
