The main 2022 novelties release names the watch “RIVIERA BAUMATIC – M0A10702.” The current official product page shortens the reference to 10702 and describes it as an automatic watch with a date display. How is the blue 2022 Riviera Baumatic different?
A separate summer-editions announcement dated 15 June 2022 describes a blue 42 mm Riviera Baumatic. It has a smoky blue sapphire dial with mesh decoration and blue accents, plus an interchangeable blue rubber strap. Baume & Mercier also gives this variant 100 m water resistance and repeats the 120-hour reserve and -5/+10-seconds-per-day precision claims. The brand’s Summer Editions announcement documents this configuration separately from the gray M0A10702. That release does not establish a reference number for the blue watch, so it should not be assigned the gray model’s reference without confirmation.
In practical terms, the clearest visible distinction is the configuration: gray sapphire dial and steel bracelet for the M0A10702; blue sapphire dial and blue rubber strap for the summer-editions watch. The shared 42 mm size and Baumatic performance claims do not make them the same reference.
