What’s the difference between the BR V1-92 and BR V2-94 Bellytanker?
The main choice is between a compact time-and-date watch and a larger chronograph. Their shared design makes the difference in function, not overall theme: both pair a gold-plated dial with brown leather and a domed sapphire crystal.

Choose the V1-92 for simpler proportions and timekeeping
At 38.5 mm, the V1-92 is 2.5 mm narrower than the V2-94 and omits the chronograph subdial, tachymeter bezel and pushers. Its BR-CAL.302 movement drives hours, minutes, central seconds and a date display. Bell & Ross lists a steel case back on the US product page.

Choose the V2-94 for chronograph timing
The 41 mm V2-94 adds a central chronograph seconds hand and 30-minute counter, alongside small seconds and a date. Its tachymeter scale and screw-down pushers distinguish it visually and mechanically from the V1-92. Bell & Ross specifies a sapphire case back.
What are the Bellytanker design and racing inspiration?
Bell & Ross describes the collection as borrowing “its round case from the Vintage model while remaining contemporary,” and says it “evokes the legendary American epic of record-breaking races from the 1950s.” Those are the brand’s descriptions of the design inspiration. The gold-toned dial, brown strap and domed crystal establish the shared vintage character; on the V2-94, the tachymeter scale makes the racing chronograph theme especially explicit.

Both product descriptions specify applied metal numerals and indexes, skeletonized hands with Super-LumiNova, an ultra-domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal and 100 m water resistance. Monochrome Watches reported movement frequencies of 4 Hz and power reserves of 38 hours for the V1-92 and 42 hours for the V2-94 in its 2017 coverage; these figures are attributed to that report rather than the official product specifications.
What did the Bellytanker watches cost?
There are two distinct price references, and neither establishes what a used example costs today. Monochrome Watches reported 2017 launch-era prices of €2,300 for the V1-92 and €3,990 on leather or €4,300 on a steel bracelet for the V2-94. Bell & Ross product pages checked October 8, 2026, showed regional listings of $2,500 for the V1-92 on the US page, and $5,000 on the V2-94 US page or €3,990 on its euro-region page. The manufacturer pages marked the models unavailable at that time.

These amounts are not directly interchangeable: the historic prices and later regional page listings refer to different dates and markets. The available sources do not establish a current secondary-market asking price or completed-sale value. A listing price on a brand page is not evidence that a watch is in stock or that buyers are paying that amount.

Both official Bell & Ross product pages displayed unavailable status when checked on October 8, 2026. Bell & Ross also identifies the V2-94 as a 500-piece limited edition; Monochrome Watches reported 500 pieces for each model and availability from September 2017. Those release details do not establish how many remain unsold or how many are available second-hand. Product-page availability can change.
