boAt launched the Storm Infinity in India in March 2025 with a 1.83-inch HD display, Bluetooth calling and more than 100 sports modes. The headline’s 20-day battery figure needs a correction: boAt’s current Storm Infinity product page says up to 15 days, while its manual lists 10 days of working time. The 20-day claim is also the official figure for the later, larger Storm Infinity Plus.
Storm Infinity and Storm Infinity Plus are different watches
The original Storm Infinity is the 1.83-inch model with a 550mAh battery. Storm Infinity Plus arrived later with a 1.96-inch display and a 680mAh battery. Their similar names help explain why battery claims have been mixed up.

These are manufacturer and manual figures, not a like-for-like independent battery test. boAt’s current Storm Infinity listing advertises up to 15 days. Its user manual gives a 10-day working-time figure, while a March 2025 Gizmochina launch report said 20 days with regular use and 12 days with heavy use. The available claims do not establish the conditions behind those differences.
The later Storm Infinity Plus page advertises up to 20 days. A Gadgets 360 report on the Plus launch described up to 30 days with typical use and up to 20 days with heavy use. Those Plus figures should not be assigned to the original Storm Infinity.

What the original Storm Infinity offers
Display and controls
The Storm Infinity has a 1.83-inch HD display, a functional rotating crown, a wake gesture and changeable watch faces. boAt’s product page gives conflicting brightness figures—500 nits in its description and 550 nits in its FAQ—so neither should be treated as a settled specification.
Bluetooth calling, not cellular service
Calling works through a paired smartphone; the watch is not a standalone cellular phone. boAt’s setup guide and manual describe a second Bluetooth pairing for calls, named SINFINITY_XXXX. The manual includes a dial pad, call records and saved contacts, and specifies up to 10 saved contacts. Gizmochina’s launch report says 20, so the supported contact limit is not consistent across the available sources.
For calling, the phone must stay connected, Crest needs the relevant call, contact and background permissions, and the watch and phone need to remain within Bluetooth range. The Storm Infinity support guide gives a stable-range estimate of roughly 7–10 metres.
Fitness and wellness features
boAt lists more than 100 sports modes, alongside heart-rate, SpO2, sleep and stress tracking. The watch also lists menstrual-cycle tracking, guided breathing, steps, calories, distance, hydration reminders and sedentary alerts. Other features include SOS, Find My Device, music and camera controls, weather, flashlight, games, calendar and voice-assistant functions.
A count of sports modes describes available presets, not the accuracy or depth of each tracking profile. The manual says health readings are for reference rather than medical measurement; this is not a medical-monitoring device.

Battery, charging and real-world expectations
The original Storm Infinity has a 550mAh battery. boAt’s page claims up to 15 days, but the manual lists 10 days of working time. The manual’s introductory text also says the first charge can take up to two hours, while the product specification and manual list charging at about one hour; treat the initial-charge note as a separate instruction rather than a guaranteed routine charging time.
Bluetooth calls, speaker use, frequent health readings, screen brightness, notifications and workouts can all add to power use. The sources do not give a common usage profile that reconciles the 15-day product-page claim, the 10-day manual figure and the older 20-day report. One customer review on boAt’s page mentions about seven days with calling and 15 without it, but that is an individual report, not a controlled result.
IP68 does not make it a swimming watch
The Storm Infinity is rated IP68, but its manual sets a specific maximum exposure of 1.5 metres for 10 minutes and excludes hot baths, hot springs, saunas, snorkeling, diving, water skiing and high-speed water exposure. Do not interpret the rating as a promise that it is suitable for swimming or water sports.

Phone compatibility and setup
boAt’s support material specifies Android 7.0 or later or iOS 14.0 or later, with the boAt Crest app. Setup calls for Bluetooth and GPS to be enabled, plus permissions for notifications, location, contacts and calls. Crest should be allowed to run in the background, with battery optimization disabled.
- Install the boAt Crest app and check that the phone meets the Android or iOS requirement.
- Turn on Bluetooth and GPS, then open Crest and select Storm Infinity from the app’s home screen.
- Tap Pair and accept the additional Bluetooth request named
SINFINITY_XXXXfor calling. - Grant the requested connection, contact, call, notification and location permissions; allow Crest background operation and disable its battery optimization.
- Check that the app and watch both show Connected.
If calling does not work, first remove the watch pairing from both the phone’s Bluetooth settings and Crest, then pair again through Crest and accept the second calling connection. Check Media Audio, Phone Calls, Call Log and Contact Sharing permissions; disable battery optimization and restart both devices. Factory-reset the watch only as a last resort. boAt’s Storm Infinity Plus support page describes these recovery checks.

If notifications stop, confirm they appear in the phone’s notification centre, check smart-reminder settings in Crest, keep the app running in the background and review Do Not Disturb schedules. For activity data, sync with Crest at least daily: the watch may store some data while disconnected, but the manual warns unsynchronized records can be lost.
Launch timing, price and availability in India
The original Storm Infinity was covered at launch on March 26, 2025, with reports of availability through Amazon India, Flipkart and boAt’s website, and offline sales around launch. Those are historical launch details, not confirmation of current stock or pricing in a particular location. The official Storm Infinity page showed ₹1,499 when checked in the August 16, 2026 commercial snapshot, against an MRP of ₹5,999; prices and availability can change.

Storm Infinity Plus was reported launched in India on May 9, 2025. Its official page showed ₹1,699 and a coupon price of ₹1,599 in that same snapshot, with “Restocking soon” displayed. Check each model’s exact product page for current price and stock rather than assuming the launch or observed price still applies.
Who should consider the Storm Infinity?
- Consider it if you want a budget watch for phone-linked Bluetooth calls, a large display and casual activity or wellness tracking, and you are comfortable using Crest and granting its permissions.
- Look elsewhere if you need standalone calls, GPS-based training, advanced athletic analytics, medical-grade measurements, or a watch intended for swimming and diving.
- Compare carefully if 20-day battery life is the deciding factor: that is the Storm Infinity Plus’s official claim, not the current official claim for the original Storm Infinity.
boAt states a one-year warranty on the Storm Infinity product page. Its warranty terms also describe a 12-month standard warranty plus a three-month extension for qualifying purchases made through boAt’s website or app on or after April 15, 2025; check the terms for eligibility.
