That combination is what makes it interesting: most watches with this depth rating are noticeably bulkier. Every figure below comes from Bohen’s own product pages. The pages I drew on cite no independent laboratory test of the depth rating, so “professional-grade” is the brand’s positioning, not a certification. The model was a 500-piece run, and Bohen’s current overview describes it as sold out.

How deep can it dive, and who says so?
Bohen states 600 m / 60 ATM. I found no independent laboratory, regulator or standards-body result for this watch, so treat the rating as the manufacturer’s claim. That is normal for small brands, but it is not the same as a third-party certification.
How thick is it, and why does that matter?
At 12.8 mm including the crystal, the watch is slim for its rating. Bohen’s overview credits three choices: a miniaturized helium escape valve, a grade 5 titanium screwed case back and a 3.5 mm sapphire crystal. Any “one of the thinnest” or “the thinnest” wording is Bohen’s positioning, not the result of an independent comparison.
Thickness is only part of fit. The 48 mm length and 41 mm bezel decide how it sits on a smaller or larger wrist, so check those two numbers against your own wrist rather than relying on the thickness alone.

- DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: The case and solid bracelet are crafted from 316L stainless steel, measuring 13.4mm thick with a 48.5mm lug-to-lug span for a robust, comfortable fit.
- LUMINOUS VISIBILITY: Features BGW-X1 blue light and C3 green light luminous material on the hands and indices, ensuring excellent readability in low-light and underwater conditions.
- KEY SPECIFICATIONS: Case diameter 41mm, band length 7.3 inches, band width 20mm/18mm, unidirectional rotating bezel, and date display at 3 o'clock position.
What movement does it use?
Bohen describes a Swiss automatic movement designed by Soprod with a 42-hour reserve and a 4 Hz beat. The official listing does not give a caliber name, so don’t assume a specific Soprod model. The movement shows no date, which keeps the dial simpler.
What comes in the box?
- A steel bracelet with tool-free quick release, a micro-adjustment clasp and a diving extension.
- Two silicone straps, one black and one brown. So yes, it ships with rubber-style straps as well as the bracelet.
- A choice of right- or left-side crown, which is useful if you wear the watch on your right wrist.
Is it still available?
Probably not new from Bohen. In 2026, the English product listing showed the watch as unavailable at €2,790, and the Grande Marine overview described the 500-example run as sold out. Prices and stock can change, so confirm on Bohen’s site. If you find one elsewhere, expect secondhand terms. Also check whether the three-year warranty applies to a later owner, since the listing doesn’t say.

Launch context
Bohen announced the model on March 7, 2024, in a post signed by founder Blaise-Dominique. It raised the planned run from 300 to 500 pieces and presented the watch as an elegant design with contained dimensions. The brand also said it chose not to work with retailers, with the line “Let’s stay small, but think big…”. That describes the launch, not how the watch is sold today.
How to judge it against other dive watches
- Thickness against depth rating: compare 12.8 mm and 600 m with rival watches’ own published figures, remembering that both sides are claims.
- Footprint: use length and bezel size alongside thickness.
- Movement disclosure: Bohen names a designer but not a caliber, so a like-for-like movement comparison is limited.
- Package: bracelet, diving extension and two straps are included, which can offset a higher price.
- Stock and support: a sold-out limited run means you will probably be buying on the secondary market.
The Bottom Line
The Grande Marine is a slim 600 m dive watch on paper, with a ceramic bezel, a Soprod-designed automatic and a generous strap package. Its depth rating and “thin” claims rest on Bohen’s word alone. As a sold-out limited run, it is mainly a secondary-market proposition now.
