What the StarDiver is—and what “limited” means
The StarDiver is Bohen’s mechanical dive-watch model, distinct from the brand’s H by Bohen / Plongeur 530 line. Bohen’s English homepage presents the StarDiver as “Only 300 pieces” and lists it “From € 3,290.00 Incl. Taxes” as of October 8, 2026. Those are the company’s current listing claims, not confirmation of remaining inventory or availability in a particular configuration. Bohen’s English homepage describes the company as family-owned and says limited production allows time for complex, largely handcrafted finishes; that is the maker’s own positioning.

How the finish and design come across
Weppelink describes an overall brushed look punctuated by polished details, and calls the execution “really well done.” He also draws attention to the case’s many small angular details. That is a reviewer’s visual judgment, not an objective finishing grade; the concrete description explains what the praise refers to.

The same geometry makes the watch divisive. Weppelink wrote, “This design is not for everyone, and initially, it wasn’t for me either.” He says the design grew on him after wearing it and that the watch felt surprisingly comfortable for its size. Those are his impressions from wearing the watch, not a guarantee of fit or comfort for every wrist.
Size, bracelet, and strap options
At the dimensions reported by Fratello—41 mm across, 48 mm lug-to-lug, and 14.8 mm thick—the StarDiver has substantial height and a pronounced presence. Diameter alone does not predict fit: the 48 mm lug-to-lug measurement, case shape, and wrist proportions also matter. If possible, compare those dimensions with a watch you already wear comfortably or try the StarDiver on before buying.

Fratello describes a three-row bracelet with toolless sizing, a clasp with micro-adjustment, and a stated fit range of 15.1 cm to 22.3 cm wrists. The review also reports black and orange rubber strap options. These are details from its 2023 article and may not describe every current configuration. Check Bohen’s current listing for the exact package, sizing method, and included strap or bracelet before placing an order.
What the 1,000-meter rating does—and does not—tell you
Fratello reports a 1,000-meter water-resistance specification, alongside a screw-down crown, helium escape valve, and 60-minute bezel. This signals an extreme-depth design brief, but the review is not an independent certification record, and the rating alone does not establish how a particular watch was tested or what warranty terms apply. A depth rating also does not replace practical care: follow the manufacturer’s operating instructions, keep the crown and caseback properly secured, and have water resistance checked as recommended, especially before diving.
