What is the BOLDR Venture Rally SRW?
The Venture Rally SRW is a chronograph in BOLDR Supply Co.’s Venture series. BOLDR’s year-end 2023 post included the Rally SRW among its summer collection. The specialist review identifies the reference as VE-RSRW-TI-20-44.
According to that review, “SRW” refers to Sophie Rose Wells, daughter of rally driver and BOLDR ambassador Daniel Wells. It describes the colorway as a tribute to her following her father’s 2022 high-speed accident.
What movement is in the Venture Rally SRW?
The review identifies a Seiko SII VK64 mechaquartz movement. Mechaquartz combines a battery-powered quartz timekeeping base with a mechanical chronograph mechanism, giving the watch a chronograph function without a fully mechanical movement. The review lists hours, minutes, small seconds, chronograph, and a day/night indicator, along with a three-year power reserve.

BOLDR’s separate Venture Earth page also lists a 38 mm recycled-titanium case, 200 m/20 ATM water resistance, sapphire crystal and 20 mm lug size. Those are Venture Earth details and should not be assumed to describe the Rally SRW; in particular, the Rally review specifies black-coated titanium, not recycled titanium.

Is the Venture Rally SRW a good fit for a smaller wrist?
Its reported 44 mm lug-to-lug measurement is a useful starting point for assessing fit: it is a more direct indicator of how far the case may span across the wrist than the 38 mm diameter alone. The short lugs and modest profile were described as compact by the reviewer, who tried it on a 6.25-inch (15.8 cm) wrist and also showed it on a 7-inch (17.8 cm) wrist. Those are one reviewer’s observations, not a guarantee that it will fit every wrist.
The NATO-style strap may add bulk beneath the case. If you are sensitive to thickness or prefer a close fit, try the supplied strap on wrist or compare it with a different strap before deciding. The 20 mm lug width provides a starting measurement for alternatives, but check the strap-end dimensions and fit for the exact watch.

Dial, finish and strap: what the review found
Time+Tide praised the stepped rehaut and subdial rings for giving the dial depth. It also noted an unusual three-section running-seconds subdial. The review considered the subdial lume more decorative than practically useful, and judged the case finishing reasonably good for the watch’s price bracket.
The reviewer’s main reservation was the strap fabric, which did not hold up to daily wear as well as they wanted. An aftermarket strap is a possible alternative; check dimensions and end fit rather than assuming every 20 mm strap will suit the watch equally well.

- Confirm the exact reference and case thickness with the seller: Time+Tide reports 12.2 mm, while a merchant listing gives 14 mm.
- Assess wrist fit using the 44 mm lug-to-lug measurement as well as the 38 mm case diameter; personal fit can vary.
- Verify present-day price, stock, shipping and warranty directly with the seller, since the available price and stock information dates to November 2023.
- If you plan to replace the strap, confirm both the 20 mm lug width and the strap-end shape or clearance for this case.
