Reference 5175BB/2Y/9V6 was introduced in October 2017 as a special edition for the 10th anniversary of Breguet Boutique Ginza. The edition was limited to 10 watches. The technical details and launch information were reported by WatchMediaOnline and OPENERS in 2017. The available specifications identify the case as 18K white gold and the movement as Calibre 777J; they do not establish a current production or availability status.

Automatic movement
Calibre 777J is an automatic movement with a stated frequency of 4 Hz and a 55-hour power reserve. The reported silicon escape wheel, pallet fork and hairspring are notable technical details, while the transparent back lets the wearer see the movement. The 30 m water-resistance rating is a modest specification for a dress watch; it should not be read as a recommendation for swimming.

Grand Feu enamel
The dial is blue Grand Feu enamel, not a blue-coated metal dial. Its enamel finish is paired with Breguet numerals and open-tipped hands. These details distinguish the Ginza edition visually while keeping it within the Classique family’s traditional styling.

Contemporaneous Japanese coverage reported a launch price of ¥2,900,000 before tax, or ¥3,132,000 including tax. These are historical Japanese launch prices from 2017, not an offer or current retail price. The reporting also gave an approximate euro conversion, but that conversion is not a current exchange-rate figure.
Phillips recorded a 2023 sale at CHF 63,500 for one example, number 10 of 10, accompanied by documents and packaging. That result documents one transaction; by itself it does not establish a current market range, a typical resale price, or the value of another watch with different condition or provenance. How the 5175 differs from the Classique 5177
The 5175 Ginza edition is a no-date watch. Breguet’s current official Classique 5177 page describes a date display at 3 o’clock. The 5177 is therefore a useful family comparison for the display, but its specifications and current listing should not be transferred to the limited 5175 reference. The 5175’s 2017 launch price and 10-piece Ginza edition status are specific to this watch.
