The paired mechanism rotates as a unit once every 12 hours, and its bridge also serves as the hour hand. Breguet lists three versions in rose gold or platinum; its current product page directs buyers to a point of sale for pricing.
How the Double Tourbillon works
A conventional tourbillon places the escapement and balance wheel inside a rotating cage. Breguet describes the complication as a way to compensate for gravity’s effects on the regulating organ. That is the historical purpose of the mechanism, not proof that this watch is more accurate in everyday use.
In the 5345, two tourbillons are connected through a central differential. Each cage completes one revolution per minute, while the exposed assembly turns around the dial once in 12 hours. The large bridge spanning the movement functions as the hour hand, making the motion of the mechanism part of the time display. Breguet’s product description explains the architecture and its manually wound movement: Breguet Classique Double Tourbillon Quai de l’Horloge 5345.
References and listed specifications
Breguet’s current product page groups three references under the 5345 model name. Their movement numbers and component counts differ, so check the reference rather than assuming every detail is shared.

Breguet’s current product page lists these shared or model-level specifications: manual winding, 60-hour power reserve, 2.5 Hz frequency, 46 mm case diameter, 23 mm lug width and a sapphire caseback. The rose-gold reference page also lists 16.9 mm thickness, 1.6 BAR water resistance and a rubber strap. Caseback, dial and historical reference
The movement is exposed on the dial side. Breguet’s editorial coverage describes hand-guilloché decoration on the gold mainplate and a hand-engraved caseback depicting an aerial view of Abraham-Louis Breguet’s workshop at 39 Quai de l’Horloge. The brand says the caseback engraving took more than 100 hours to create.

In its article published 28 June 2024, Breguet presented the watch as a new interpretation of the Double Tourbillon and linked its name to the founder’s workshop and tourbillon invention, dated by the brand to 26 June 1801. The launch article identifies 740 components for movement 588N2; the current product page lists 751 for the 588N1 variant. Fit and price: what to check before buying
At 46 mm across and, for the rose-gold version, 16.9 mm thick on the current product page, the watch has substantial dimensions. Try the exact reference on the wrist if possible, and assess how its case diameter and thickness sit under a cuff. The 23 mm lug width and listed rubber strap are useful identification details, but they do not establish compatibility with any particular replacement strap.

Breguet’s 2024 launch article gives the rose-gold case thickness as 16.8 mm, while the current product architecture page gives 16.9 mm. The sources do not explain the difference. For the current listed specification, use 16.9 mm and confirm the measurement for the exact reference with Breguet or a point of sale.
