Breitling started in 1884 by one Leon Breitling. It was established on the Swiss Jura Mountains.  It has quickly become an established luxury Swiss watchmaker primarily associated with aviation. Breitling watches are known for their outstanding designs and premium quality – they are robust and accurate. To know more about the brand, you may visit this link.
Then, the watch industry saw the rise of dive watches in the 1950s. Well-known brands such as Omega and Rolex were among the watch companies that launched very impressive dive watches – the Omega Seamaster and the Rolex Submariner, to be specific. Breitling followed suit with its introduction of the SuperOcean in 1957. Its first few models were primarily designed for professional and military divers but it immediately launched models suitable for leisure divers and other watch enthusiasts as well.
The first Breitling Superocean was outstandingly impressive because of its 200-meter water resistance compared to the Seamaster’s 62.5-meter and Submariner’s 100-meter water resistance rating. Its style is clean with large and oversized details, making it easy to read even underwater.

Breitling Superocean

From its first SuperOcean, Breitling has continued to improve the models it released throughout the years. The company innovated the watch’s materials and technology to make it more resistant to underwater pressure. As such, some of its models can survive even to 2,000 meters deep. Its designs were also upgraded to cope with the recent trends and offer more options while ensuring its readability, precision, and reliability. However, as a Swiss luxury brand, these Breitling timepieces now cost around $3,000 to more than $6,000, depending on your chosen model. Well, if you want these qualities or the SuperOcean design but can’t afford to spend that much, we have listed here some of the more affordable options. They may not be very similar to the luxurious timepiece but they’re the closest you would find in the market.
