What the Wyvern Classic Petite Seconde offers

When the watch runs low due to prolonged inactivity, it also needs to be wound. By rotating the crown to wind the automatic watch until the power jump begins, the automatic winding mechanism will work.
How it may fit and wear
The 42.5 mm diameter is the most important practical consideration. Worn & Wound judged it large for a dress-style watch and potentially too large for some wrists. That is a reviewer’s assessment rather than a universal sizing rule; case shape, wrist shape and personal preference all affect fit. The reported 10.9 mm overall thickness also matters if you want a watch to slide easily beneath a close-fitting cuff.
- Compare both diameter and thickness with a watch you already find comfortable.
- Consider whether you want a traditional dress-watch appearance in a relatively broad case.
- Confirm the exact dial, strap and buckle supplied with the individual watch; historical descriptions do not establish what a seller has today.

Warranty and servicing
Brellum’s current warranty page states a two-year warranty from purchase for manufacturing defects, subject to its terms. It requires the guarantee card and COSC certificate and says repairs during the warranty period must be carried out by a Brellum service center to preserve the international warranty. Who should consider it?
The Petite Seconde is worth considering if you want a COSC-certified automatic with a small-seconds layout, date, exhibition back and more water resistance than many dress-watch designs advertise. It is a less obvious choice if you prefer a compact dress watch or need confirmed current availability and a price before deciding. For a used example, weigh the individual watch’s condition, documentation and service history alongside the specifications; the 2018 launch prices do not tell you what a particular watch is worth now.
