The Bremont Altitude MB Meteor brings back the brand’s three-part Trip-Tick case in a redesigned 42mm titanium pilot’s watch. Its defining details are the knurled central case barrel, an internal bidirectional Roto-Click bezel and a movement Bremont says is protected by a rubber shock mount and a soft-iron ring. The specifications below refer specifically to the black-dial version with a titanium bracelet; Bremont offers other configurations.
What is Bremont’s Trip-Tick case?
Trip-Tick is Bremont’s name for a three-part case construction: a top case and case back sandwich a knurled central barrel. On the Altitude MB Meteor, the barrel is black DLC-coated Grade 2 titanium, creating a visible band between the upper and lower case sections. Bremont describes the arrangement as reinforced construction; that is the company’s design description, not a published independent strength test.

The Meteor marks a return to this case architecture in the MB line. Hodinkee describes the model as the MBII successor and notes the Trip-Tick design’s return, providing context for the redesign rather than independent verification of its performance. Hodinkee’s introduction
What changed on the Altitude MB Meteor?
Bremont says it re-engineered the Trip-Tick structure for a slimmer profile and shorter lug-to-lug span. For the black-dial titanium-bracelet model, the listed case length is 49.3mm and depth is 12.23mm. Those dimensions describe the case, but they do not establish how the watch will sit on a particular wrist; no independent fit assessment is available here.

The manufacturer also says the titanium case is lighter and stronger. The product listing gives a 53.29g weight for the watch head, not the complete watch with bracelet. Bremont does not provide comparative test data substantiating the strength claim.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications for one configuration, on Bremont’s product page retrieved in 2026; they are not independently measured figures. Other dial and strap or bracelet versions appear in Bremont’s collection and product listings, so check the exact reference for its finish and included fitting. The silver-dial listing corroborates shared core movement and dimensions, but does not make every configuration identical. The Roto-Click is an internal rotating bezel, operated by the crown at 4 o’clock. It turns in both directions. The other crown handles winding and setting. An internal bezel can be used to track elapsed time against its scale while keeping the scale beneath the crystal; Bremont’s product page identifies the bezel and its operation, but does not specify a particular timing use or provide an independent assessment of its click feel. Bremont says the crown ergonomics and bezel action have been revised.
Is the Altitude MB Meteor titanium, and does it have anti-magnetic protection?
The specified black-dial model has a Grade 2 titanium case and titanium bracelet, with a black DLC-coated central barrel. Bremont says the movement is suspended in a flexible rubber mount intended to absorb shocks, while a surrounding soft-iron ring provides anti-magnetic protection based on Faraday-cage principles.

The manufacturer does not state a quantified magnetic-resistance threshold or shock rating, and the available product information does not provide independent test results. The protective features should therefore be understood as Bremont’s description of the design, not a published performance rating.
Why is it called the Meteor?
Bremont says the name refers to the Gloster Meteor, which it describes as Britain’s first jet fighter, and connects the aircraft with Martin-Baker’s first live ejection test in 1946. This is the brand’s stated heritage rationale. Bremont’s product description
What the specifications establish—and what they don’t
The Altitude MB Meteor’s most consequential change is architectural: Bremont has returned to its three-part Trip-Tick case and adapted it with a shorter listed case length and a 12.23mm depth in the black-dial titanium-bracelet specification. The published figures and construction details make the design clear, but they cannot establish wrist comfort, real-world legibility, bezel feel or durability. Those require direct handling or independent testing.
