What the ultra-thin dimensions mean
Bulgari lists the case at 1.70 mm thick and the titanium bracelet at 1.50 mm thick. Those are separate dimensions: the bracelet figure is not the total thickness of the watch, and the product listing does not give a combined case-and-bracelet thickness. The watch’s 40 mm diameter is a distinct measurement from its exceptionally slim case profile.
Movement, certification and display
The BVL180 is described by Bulgari as a manual-winding manufacture movement and COSC-certified. Its listed frequency is 28,800 vph, equivalent to 4 Hz, and its power reserve is 50 hours. Bulgari also specifies a regulator display, an arrangement that separates the time indications rather than presenting them in the conventional stacked-hand layout.

Materials and water resistance
The case and bracelet are sandblasted titanium, while the main plate is tungsten carbide; Bulgari describes the dial as openworked. In a release dated 8 April 2024, Bulgari Japan’s announcement via PR TIMES described the Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC as a new record-setting, COSC-certified watch. That is Bulgari’s launch-era characterization. It does not by itself establish that the watch still holds a world record in 2026; no current independent confirmation of that ranking is established here.
