The retailer says freshly serviced vintage watches appear regularly, but inventory changes, so a category or brand listing does not establish that a particular model is currently available.
The shop says many watches ship from Toronto and are not kept at its London location. Contact the retailer about the exact listing to confirm where the watch is, whether it can be viewed in person, and how an inspection would be arranged.

Seiko’s official Canadian store locator also lists WatchesToBuy at Piccadilly Pines Plaza, 208 Piccadilly Street. Downtown London’s business directory identifies the address as 208 Piccadilly Street, Unit 3.

Seiko notes that store hours can vary and that selection and stock differ by retailer. Call before travelling to confirm current hours and whether the specific watch you want is at the shop. Seiko’s listing does not establish that any particular Seiko model—or any other listed watch—is in stock.
What the retailer’s published terms say
WatchesToBuy.com says its watches are guaranteed authentic and that it does not sell reproductions. That is the retailer’s claim, not an independent authentication of an individual watch. The site also states: “We do not guarantee water resistance on any watch we sell.” Do not treat a watch as suitable for swimming or other water exposure based on its age, appearance or brand.

The retailer publishes a three-day return period, subject to conditions: the case must not have been opened and the watch must remain undamaged. It asks customers to contact the shop before returning an item, says shipping and insurance fees are not refunded, and lists a $25 handling fee for returns. Confirm the current policy and how the three-day period is calculated in writing before purchase.
The site says Canadian sales are subject to GST or HST. Its payment information describes checkout through PayPal or credit card without an account, and says direct bank wire is accepted. Its shipping information estimates delivery in Canada in 1–3 business days by trackable express mail. These are the retailer’s stated methods and estimates, not guaranteed delivery timing. Ask about the shipping charge, insurance, item location and taxes for your exact order. The retailer also says buyers are responsible for import duties and taxes imposed by their country.

How to assess a vintage watch before paying
A seller’s broad guarantee cannot answer whether a particular vintage watch has original parts, what work it needs, or whether its condition matches the listing. Ask for specific, written details and keep the response with the listing and transaction records.
- Identity: Ask for the exact model or reference and any serial information the seller can safely provide.
- Condition and originality: Ask what parts are original, what has been replaced, and whether there are known defects or cosmetic changes.
- Service: Ask what service was performed, when it was done, and whether documentation is available. “Freshly serviced” is not, by itself, a description of work on the particular watch.
- Inspection: Confirm whether you can inspect the watch in person or arrange an independent inspection before the purchase becomes final.
- Returns: Get the return deadline, condition requirements, fees, shipping responsibility and contact procedure in writing, and ask how the policy applies if a problem is found.
- Water exposure: Since the retailer does not guarantee water resistance, do not rely on the watch for water use without appropriate assessment and confirmation.
Ontario’s consumer guidance says there is no general legal right to return or exchange goods simply because you change your mind. Its guidance also says a written contract is required for purchases from a business above $50, including deposits. For online purchases, the federal government’s online-shopping guidance recommends checking the vendor’s address and contact details, item condition, sale terms, shipping and return policies, and saving the listing and transaction details. These checks are particularly useful when the watch will be shipped rather than inspected at the London shop.
