Calgari is an Amsterdam-founded watch brand whose current collection centers on three chronograph designs priced at €469 on its official pages. The Nero Reverse Panda is the most fully documented model currently listed for purchase; the Dimora Panda is marked sold out, and the collection page lists the Pierre Morlet without a comparable technical specification sheet. This is a review of the published information, not a hands-on test: the specifications and terms below are Calgari’s claims, not independent measurements.
What Calgari sells, and what this review can establish
Calgari’s official collection lists the Nero Reverse Panda, Dimora Panda and Pierre Morlet chronographs at €469 each. The collection page showed the Nero available to add to cart and the Dimora marked sold out when checked in 2026; stock can change. The Pierre Morlet is listed at the same price, with a vineyard-green dial and contrasting subdials described by the brand. Calgari’s collection page is the clearest snapshot of those models and their listed prices.
The evidence supports a useful assessment of the Nero’s advertised specification, the Dimora’s listed details and current buying terms. It does not establish how the watches feel on the wrist, how well they are finished, whether their stated accuracy or water resistance holds in practice, or how they compare in value with specific competitors. Treat this as a specification-and-buying review rather than a verdict based on testing.
Calgari Nero Reverse Panda: advertised specifications
Calgari lists the Nero as reference 102.21 and describes its dial as a black “reverse panda” design with contrasting recessed subdials. The brand also says the caseback bears an engraved spade symbol. Its published specifications are:

These are manufacturer specifications from the official Nero product page, accessed in 2026; they are not independently verified dimensions or performance results. The page identifies the movement as a Seiko VK64 mecha-quartz chronograph, but the available evidence here does not independently verify its operation or reliability. A movement name alone is not a substitute for service history or a test of the individual watch.
How the Nero’s size may help you decide
The advertised 40 mm diameter, 47 mm lug-to-lug and 11.6 mm thickness give a more useful starting point than diameter alone. Lug-to-lug is especially relevant if you are checking whether a watch’s ends may extend beyond your wrist; thickness can matter when fitting it under a cuff. These figures do not predict comfort on every wrist, and no wrist-fit test is available here.
The 20 mm lug width is a practical detail if you plan to change straps. Confirm the strap’s attachment and hardware compatibility before buying; a nominal width by itself does not establish that a particular strap will fit. Calgari’s listing identifies sapphire crystal and layered anti-reflective coating, but neither the scratch resistance nor the effectiveness of the coating has been independently assessed here.

Calgari states 50 m (5 ATM) water resistance. That is a stated rating, not evidence that a particular watch has passed an independent pressure test or remains water-resistant after wear, impact or servicing. Follow Calgari’s current care guidance and have the watch’s seals checked if water exposure matters to your use.

The Nero and Dimora share several listed dimensions and headline specifications, but they are distinct references and dial designs. Calgari’s Dimora listing also states a 30-day return period and two-year international warranty on its English page. No comparable movement, dimensions, edition size, strap details or warranty terms for the Pierre Morlet are established by the collection listing, so the Nero’s specifications should not be assumed to apply to it. Price, delivery, returns and import charges
The Nero’s official listed price is €469. Whether that represents good value cannot be settled by the price and spec sheet alone: that would require a like-for-like comparison with specific alternatives, including their movement, materials, dimensions, service options, warranty, return costs and actual street prices. No such competitor comparison is established here.

Calgari’s Nero page, accessed in 2026, gives these purchase terms:
- Shipping: The page says worldwide shipping from Amsterdam is free and that delivery for in-stock products varies between 2 and 5 days. International delivery is available from a €100 purchase and is operated by DHL or PostNL.
- Returns: The listing says buyers can request a refund or exchange within 30 days of delivery.
- Warranty: It states a two-year international warranty from the shipment date. The listed exclusions include damage associated with abnormal use, lack of care, negligence, accidents, incorrect use or failure to follow Calgari’s directions.
- Taxes and customs: Calgari says EU taxes and customs charges are included. For UK orders under €150, it says UK VAT is collected; for UK purchases above €150, charges are excluded. Taxes and customs charges are also excluded outside the EU.
Because the Nero is listed at €469, UK buyers should check applicable charges before ordering; the same applies to buyers outside the EU. The final cost and applicable terms depend on destination and the checkout information. Read the current terms on the Nero product page before purchase.

There is editorial coverage, but its scope and independence matter. Fratello’s Calgari brand page links to Daan de Groot’s 9 June 2024 hands-on article about the Dimora Panda and Pierre Morlet. That coverage predates the current listing snapshot and does not establish hands-on results for a newly purchased Nero.

Worn & Wound’s Calgari feature describes the brand as Amsterdam-founded in 2019 and discusses the debut collection of the Dimora Panda, Nero Reverse Panda and Pierre Morlet. It provides brand and collection context rather than a current technical comparison of all three models.
Oracle of Time’s review, published 5 December 2025, covers the Dimora and Nero and is marked sponsored. Its subjective assessments should be read with that disclosure in mind; it is not independent consumer testing.
Trustpilot displayed a 4.6 score from 59 reviews when its profile was accessed in 2026, and notes that Calgari had not recently invited customers to review. Individual posts include positive service accounts and complaints, including one concerning a delayed refund and customs costs. The Nero is the easiest model to assess from Calgari’s published information: its dimensions, movement designation, materials, stated water resistance, edition claim and purchase terms are set out on a product page. It may suit someone drawn to its reverse-panda styling who is comfortable deciding from manufacturer specifications and checking the final delivered cost first.

The Dimora is a plausible alternative if its panda dial is more appealing, but it was marked sold out on the official page checked in 2026. The Pierre Morlet’s green-dial description may make it visually distinct, but the available collection information is too limited for a technical comparison. Before choosing either, verify stock and the model-specific specification sheet rather than transferring the Nero’s details to another watch.
There is not enough evidence here to call €469 a bargain, confirm real-world accuracy or comfort, or make a broad judgment about Calgari’s long-term quality. The soundest conclusion is narrower: Calgari publishes a concrete specification and purchase package for the Nero, while independent hands-on evidence for that specific model and a full comparison against alternatives remain limited.
