The Dragon Ball Z G-SHOCK is the GA-110JDB, a limited-edition collaboration built on Casio’s GA-110 platform. Its orange illustrated case and bands, gold accents, four-star motif and “Z” detail distinguish it from a standard GA-110. Casio announced it in 2020; its original Japanese suggested retail price does not establish today’s market value or availability.
What is the Dragon Ball Z G-SHOCK?
Casio’s official English announcement identifies the collaboration as the GA-110JDB and says it was developed with Dragon Ball Z. Casio America used the U.S. designation GA110JDB-1A4 and also referred to it as the Dragon Ball GA110. Those model names refer to the same collaboration, with the U.S. suffix included in the American release.
The watch is based on the GA-110, rather than being a separate movement platform. Casio’s June 17, 2020 announcement describes the collaboration and its product details: Casio International GA-110JDB release.
How the Dragon Ball Z design is expressed
The orange body and bands carry Dragon Ball illustrations and graphics that Casio describes as depicting Son Goku’s training and growth. Gold accents add contrast to the orange color scheme. Two especially recognizable details sit on the inset dials: a four-star ball motif at 9 o’clock, associated with Goku, and a “Z” motif at 3 o’clock.
#1 Best Overall
- Rugged & Sporty Design – Matte black finish with bold digital display, built for tactical, military, and extreme sports enthusiasts.
- High-Brightness LED Backlight – Features Super Illuminator LED with a light guide plate, ensuring exceptional visibility in low-light conditions.
- 200M Water Resistance – Engineered for swimming, snorkeling, and outdoor adventures, this shock-resistant watch is ready for action.
- Extended 7-Year Battery Life – Powered by a CR2025 battery, offering years of reliable performance without frequent replacements.
- Shock-Resistant Structure – Built to withstand extreme conditions, making it ideal for sports, military, and rugged outdoor use.
Dragon Ball Z branding also appears on the case back and special package. These details help distinguish the licensed collaboration from a conventional GA-110, though a listing photo or seller description alone does not establish that an offered watch is genuine.

- Confirm the model designation: GA-110JDB is the collaboration name; GA110JDB-1A4 is the designation used in Casio America’s U.S. release.
- Compare photographs with the orange illustrated body and bands, gold accents, four-star motif, “Z” detail, branded case back and special package. Packaging or photos are clues, not proof of authenticity.
- Check whether the listing is for a new or used watch, what accessories are included, and whether the seller provides a clear return policy and credible provenance.
- Evaluate water resistance cautiously for a used watch; the original 200-meter specification does not establish the condition of an individual example today.
- Compare the live asking price with other current offers for the same model and condition. The original Japanese retail price is not a current-market benchmark.
