Which three watches were in the release?
The 2021 release covered three reference numbers: SBGN019, SBGN021 and SBGN023. The launch coverage gave June 2021 as their availability date. That is the historical release timing; it does not establish whether any reference is currently available or what it costs today.
The available launch information confirms the references and release date, but does not establish enough model-by-model detail to make a reliable comparison of case dimensions, materials, dial or bezel configurations, water resistance, edition status or original regional prices. Those specifications should be checked against official reference records before using them to distinguish the watches.
What is the Grand Seiko 9F86?

The official specification also lists a 24-hour hand for dual time, quick correction of the time difference, date display, instant date change and hacking. In watch terminology, hacking means the seconds hand stops when the crown is pulled to set the time.
How does the GMT hand help when travelling?
The 24-hour hand can track a second time zone while the main hour hand shows local time. When changing time zones, the wearer can adjust the local hour hand independently rather than resetting the minute and seconds hands. Grand Seiko says the independent hour-hand adjustment maintains the movement’s precision. The brand described this feature in its 2018 account of the first 9F quartz GMT calibre.

This arrangement makes the 9F86 useful for travel: the local hour can be moved to match the destination while the 24-hour hand continues to indicate the other time zone. Grand Seiko’s specification also lists quick correction of the time difference while adjusting to a calendar.
