The Casio G-Shock GD-X6900MNM-1—also written GDX6900MNM-1—is a 2013 Eminem collaboration released for G-SHOCK’s 30th anniversary. Its matte-black case and band, reverse LCD, red Detroit skyline, reversed E details and “Shady” personalization set it apart from a standard GD-X6900. Casio priced it at $180 at U.S. launch; that historical retail price is not a guide to what a used example is worth now.
What is the G-Shock Eminem limited edition?
Casio announced the GD-X6900MNM-1 as a limited-edition collaboration with Eminem for G-SHOCK’s 30th anniversary. Casio Japan’s release, dated December 6, 2013, said the watch would be available that December. Casio America said U.S. availability began December 7, 2013, through selected department stores, fashion boutiques, key jewelers and the G-SHOCK NYC Soho store. The U.S. release also uses the unhyphenated form GDX6900MNM-1. Casio Japan’s announcement and Casio America’s announcement document the launch.
Casio America listed the original U.S. retail price as $180 in 2013. That is a launch price, not a present-day appraisal or completed-sale value. Casio America’s release is the source for that historical figure.
How to recognize the Eminem edition
The collaboration’s design cues are useful when comparing seller photos with the exact model. Casio’s releases specify:

These details are documented in Casio Japan’s release and Casio America’s release. Ask for clear, original-resolution photographs of the face, band, case back and loop rather than relying on a listing title or one promotional image. A matching appearance alone does not establish authenticity.

Casio’s model-specific specification line lists the following. The approximate battery-life figure is a manufacturer estimate, not a promise about a particular watch—especially one that has been in use for years.

These are manufacturer specifications from Casio Japan’s model release, not independent test results. Casio’s launch summary also mentions five daily alarms, while its detailed model-specific specification line says three multi-alarms, including one snooze alarm. The table follows that detailed line rather than combining the two descriptions. For a used watch, ask the seller to demonstrate the display and functions and confirm battery status with the seller or a qualified service provider.
What is the GDX6900MNM-1 worth today?
There is not enough evidence here to give a representative current global price. A Yahoo! Japan Auctions completed-results page, retrieved October 8, 2026 and showing the preceding 180 days, displayed two Eminem-collaboration results: ¥30,322 and ¥59,000, with a displayed average of ¥44,661. Those are two results from a Japan-specific snapshot, not a broad market average or appraisal. The page does not make those results comparable by condition, completeness or authenticity evidence. Asking prices on active listings are not proof of what buyers have paid. Compare completed sales of the same reference where possible, and keep the region and condition in view; the available evidence does not support converting this small yen-denominated sample into a current U.S.-dollar value.

Use seller evidence to compare like with like. “Limited edition” in a listing title is not proof that the watch is genuine, complete or in working order.
