What is the MTG-B2000PH-2A Blue Phoenix?
Casio announced the MTG-B2000PH on March 1, 2021, as an MT-G model. The Japanese product listing identifies the reference as MTG-B2000PH-2A and gives a May 2021 product date. Regional references may carry different suffixes, so check the exact marking on the watch or listing you are evaluating. Casio’s international launch announcement and Japanese product page document the model and its launch-era details.
What makes the Blue Phoenix design distinctive?
Casio used a Blue Phoenix motif across the case, bezel, dial and band. Rainbow ion plating on the bezel and case creates light-blue color with yellow-to-red gradients; the bezel is a separate component from the case, and the color arrangement differs between them. Pink and orange accents appear on the multicolored dial, while the translucent resin band is navy blue.
Because the rainbow ion plating varies, the finish is not identical from watch to watch. Casio’s March 1, 2021 announcement says, “The subtle color variations in the rainbow ion plating mean that every single watch is unique — no two look the same.”

Casio’s 2021 international launch specification states approximately 29 months of operation after a full charge with power saving enabled. This is the manufacturer’s figure under that stated condition, not an independently measured or universal battery-life guarantee.

The official material establishes the watch’s design, specifications and launch-era regional pricing, but not current inventory, resale value, or the status of any particular seller or listing. For a purchase decision, verify the exact reference and suffix on the item, its condition, the seller’s standing and the price currently offered in your market. A listing’s use of “Blue Phoenix” alone does not verify that it is the MTG-B2000PH-2A.
