Which G-Shock models are included?
The three US models are the GW2310U-1, GW6900U-1 and GX56UBB-1. Notebookcheck’s February 22, 2026 report describes all three as Tough Solar watches with 200 m water resistance. The two radio-controlled models are the GW2310U-1 and GW6900U-1; the GX56UBB-1 is the mud-resistant option.

The prices above are reported suggested launch prices, not verified current offers. Notebookcheck’s feature summary identifies radio control for the GW2310U-1 and GW6900U-1, but does not list it for the GX56UBB-1.
What changed in the updated versions?
The defining reported update is the shift from EL illumination to LED backlighting, paired with a newer module. Casio America’s product pages for the GW2310U-1 and GX56UBB-1 also use LED-light imagery. These changes update the watches without changing their broad roles: the GW2310U-1 and GW6900U-1 offer radio-controlled timekeeping and multiple timing functions, while the GX56UBB-1 emphasizes mud resistance and a black-background display.

Which one fits your priorities?
- Choose the GW2310U-1 or GW6900U-1 if radio-controlled timekeeping, world time, a stopwatch, a timer and a daily alarm matter most. Their stated functions are the same in Notebookcheck’s report; the main identified distinction is dial layout.
- Consider the GX56UBB-1 if mud resistance and its black-background display are the differentiators you want. The report also lists world time for this model.
- Compare current listings before buying if price or availability is decisive. The report’s US-store stock snapshot said the GW2310U-1 and GX56UBB-1 were out of stock when published, and it does not establish present inventory.
