Casio announced the Barbie-themed G-SHOCK GMA-S110BE on January 31, 2025. It pairs the GMA-S110’s layered analog-digital dial with pink Barbie branding and doll-box-inspired packaging. Casio did not announce a worldwide production limit, so “limited edition” is not established as a global description; a Hong Kong and Macau promotion called it a “limited model” for a local draw.
What is the Barbie G-SHOCK?
The GMA-S110BE is Casio’s collaboration with the Barbie brand, built on the GMA-S110 platform. Casio Europe announced it on January 31, 2025. Regional product names include GMA-S110BE-4A in Malaysia and GMA-S110BE-4AER in Germany; those suffixes identify regional listings and should not be assumed interchangeable. Casio Europe’s announcement describes the collaboration without giving a global production quantity.
What makes the design distinctive?
The watch uses a monochromatic pink palette with tonal variation across the case and dial. Barbie branding appears at 3 o’clock and on the band loop; a heart motif marks the inset indicator at 9 o’clock. The band and case back also carry Barbie silhouette details. Its special packaging takes inspiration from Barbie doll boxes. These are the collaboration’s defining differences from the standard GMA-S110, whose analog-digital dial is formed from layered small components. Casio Europe identifies 1959 as the year the Barbie brand launched.
Materials, dimensions and functions
Casio says key resin parts of the bezel and band use bio-based resin. For the German GMA-S110BE-4AER, Casio lists dimensions of 45.9 × 49 × 15.8 mm and a weight of 56 g. Those figures are from that market’s 2025 product release, not a measurement of every regional variant. Casio Germany’s release lists the German model details.

Casio Malaysia lists these functions and ratings for its GMA-S110BE-4A listing:
- Shock resistance and magnetic resistance compliant with ISO 764
- 20-bar water resistance
- World time for 48 cities
- 1/1000-second stopwatch and countdown timer
- Five daily alarms and an auto LED light

Was it a limited-edition release?
The evidence supports a regional qualification, not a confirmed worldwide cap. Casio Europe’s global-facing announcement does not state a unit limit or call the model globally limited. A Hong Kong and Macau distributor described it as a “limited model” in connection with a local purchase draw in February 2025. That promotion does not establish how many watches were made worldwide or whether other markets had the same terms. The local draw page is specific to that promotion.

Release timing and price were market-specific. The dates and price below are historical 2025 terms, not evidence of current stock or a universal retail price.
