Casio’s four G-Shock Flame Inside watches reached the US in January 2025. The collection pairs blue or orange gradient dials with two distinct case families: the GA-2100FL and the larger GA-100FL. At launch, the GA-2100FL models were priced at $130 and the GA-100FL models at $140; those are historical launch prices, not current retail quotes.
Which G-Shock Flame Inside models are available?
The US collection comprises four model numbers. In Casio’s naming, “1A” identifies the blue-dial colorway and “8A” the orange-dial colorway.
| Model | Dial color | Family |
|---|---|---|
| GA-2100FL-1A | Blue gradient | GA-2100FL |
| GA-2100FL-8A | Orange gradient | GA-2100FL |
| GA-100FL-1A | Blue gradient | GA-100FL |
| GA-100FL-8A | Orange gradient | GA-100FL |
Casio says vapor deposition creates the orange and blue dial gradients, while black-to-gray gradients on the bands evoke smoke. The company presents the colors and smoke motif as symbols of the drive to take on challenges; they are design elements, not functional features. Casio’s GA-2100FL-1A collection page describes the range as expressing “the blazing passion that burns within.”
How much did the watches cost at US launch?
Notebookcheck reported on January 16, 2025, that Casio launched the collection in the US at $130 for either GA-2100FL model and $140 for either GA-100FL model. These are launch-period prices from 2025, not a statement of current availability or price. Casio’s product pages establish the collection and specifications but do not establish live US stock; check current retailer listings for present-day pricing.

Both families share shock resistance, 20-bar water resistance, world time covering 48 cities, a countdown timer, and five daily alarms. Casio lists additional specifications that distinguish the families:
| Family | Models and colors | Distinctive listed features |
|---|---|---|
| GA-2100FL | GA-2100FL-1A (blue); GA-2100FL-8A (orange) | 1/100-second stopwatch; double LED illumination with Super Illuminator; Casio specifies bio-based resin in key bezel and band components. |

GA-2100FL: octagonal case and double LED illumination
The GA-2100FL is the slimmer octagonal-case family. Its stopwatch is specified to 1/100 second, and Casio lists double LED illumination with Super Illuminator. Casio identifies bio-based resin in key bezel and band components and says this is expected to help reduce environmental impact; that material statement applies to the GA-2100FL, not the GA-100FL.

Casio’s 20-bar figure is the maker’s water-resistance rating. It should not be treated as a guarantee for a particular activity; consult Casio’s usage guidance for what the rating means in practice.
