Does the CCCP Heritage use a Russian Slava movement?
CCCP describes its designs as inspired by Soviet history and watchmaking and says some of its watches use original Slava movements. That is the brand’s claim; it does not establish the movement in every Heritage reference. What does Slava 2427 tell you—and what does it not?
Slava’s historical account places caliber 2427 among movements created during the 1960s–70s. Slava’s official history That makes the caliber historically relevant, but the available listings do not provide independent performance measurements, a technical sheet, or evidence about the condition of a specific watch’s movement.
Slava’s current ERA page illustrates why the reference and variant matter: it identifies a limited-edition automatic version with caliber 2427 and also says a serial version uses Miyota 8205. Slava ERA model information ERA is a separate model, so its specifications should not be attributed to CCCP Heritage. Its relevance here is simply that even a model family can have distinct movement variants.

What should you check before choosing a Heritage watch?
- Match the full reference number. Confirm whether the watch is CP-7020-02, CP-7021-0C, or another variant; similar collection names do not guarantee identical specifications.
- Confirm the caliber in writing. If a specific Slava caliber matters to you, look for it on the listing or ask the seller to verify the watch being sold. The CP-7020-02 listing names Slava but not 2427.
- Compare the details that affect fit and use. Check case depth as well as width, case finish, crystal, date placement, strap, and stated water resistance against the exact listing.
- Ask about the individual watch’s history. The cited retail specifications do not establish service history, authenticity, timing performance, or water-resistance test results for an individual example.
Verdict
CCCP Heritage is a Soviet-history-inspired automatic collection with retailer-documented Slava movements. The clearest documented Slava 2427 example here is the CP-7021-0C; the CP-7020-02 listing identifies a Slava movement but leaves the caliber unspecified. Choose and assess the watch by its full reference, not the collection name alone.
