Chopard’s 2025 Flying T Twin Perpetual and Alpine Eagle 41 XP CS Platinum take sharply different routes: a yellow-gold dress watch pairing a flying tourbillon with a perpetual calendar, and an 8 mm platinum sports watch with central seconds. Both use automatic L.U.C movements with micro-rotors, twin stacked barrels and a reported 65-hour power reserve.
What distinguishes the two Chopard watches?
The central choice is between complication and slimness. The L.U.C Flying T Twin Perpetual devotes its display to a flying tourbillon and perpetual calendar. The Alpine Eagle 41 XP CS Platinum keeps the indication simpler, with central seconds, in a notably thinner case and an integrated bracelet.

Chopard L.U.C Flying T Twin Perpetual: tourbillon and calendar
The Flying T Twin Perpetual is the more mechanically elaborate of the pair. Its L.U.C 96.36-L combines a flying tourbillon with a perpetual calendar that displays the day, date and month. Fratello’s April 2, 2025 launch report says the calendar accounts for the variable lengths of the months and leap-year cycle without manual correction.
The 319-part automatic calibre is 6 mm thick and uses a micro-rotor with two stacked barrels. Chopard places it in a 40.5 mm-wide, 11.6 mm-thick case of ethical 18-carat yellow gold. The green dial’s hand-applied guilloché and PVD treatment give the watch a decorative counterpoint to its technical display.

Alpine Eagle 41 XP CS Platinum: a slim sports-watch format
The Alpine Eagle 41 XP CS Platinum is identified in Fratello’s coverage as reference 295396-9001. Its 41 × 8 mm case is made from 950 platinum and joins an integrated bracelet. The “CS” designation refers to central seconds. The blue “Shades of Ice” dial takes its inspiration from Alpine glaciers.
Inside is the automatic L.U.C 96.42-L, reported as a 181-part calibre measuring 3.3 mm thick. It runs at 4 Hz and uses a micro-rotor and two stacked barrels. The reported 65-hour power reserve matches the Flying T’s, while the case is 3.6 mm thinner.

How to choose between them
- Choose the Flying T Twin Perpetual if the tourbillon and perpetual calendar are the point: it combines both complications in a yellow-gold case with a detailed green dial.
- Choose the Alpine Eagle 41 XP CS Platinum if you prefer the more restrained central-seconds display, an integrated-bracelet sports-watch design and the thinner 8 mm platinum case.
- Do not treat the shared power reserve as a tie-breaker: both movements are reported with 65 hours. The available specifications do not establish that one is objectively better overall.
Price and availability
At launch, Fratello reported both prices as “on request” and said the Alpine Eagle was available only at Chopard boutiques. Those are launch-era details, not confirmation of current pricing, stock or sales channels. Chopard’s catalog includes the Flying T Twin Perpetual and Alpine Eagle variants, but that does not confirm current availability of these exact editions. Contact Chopard or an authorized retailer for current information. The launch specifications and pricing notes are in Fratello Watches’ April 2, 2025 coverage; Chopard’s official gold-watches catalog shows catalog examples from the lines.
