Citizen says Eco-Drive places a solar cell beneath the dial, so the dial must allow light through; the company identifies Tosa Washi as a material chosen for that requirement. What does the A060 Eco-Drive movement do?
The A060 converts light into power, so Citizen says the watch does not need battery replacement. Its listed functions go beyond timekeeping: they include a perpetual calendar and independent hour-hand setting, which lets the wearer adjust local time without changing the minute and seconds hands.

Case, strap and water resistance
The 38 mm case is made from gold-tone Super Titanium with Duratect coating. Citizen pairs it with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a crocodile-style leather strap. The Canadian page specifies a fold-over clasp with push button.
Citizen lists water resistance at 100 m / 10 bar. Its regional pages describe swimming and marine sports in Canada, and swimming, showering and snorkeling in the US. Availability varies by region, and Citizen’s listings indicate that this is not a straightforward new purchase. The US product page shows the watch as sold out.
