Yes, Citizen makes a blue-dial Attesa: the CB0215-18L in the UNITE with BLUE series. But Citizen Australia lists its power reserve as two years in power-save mode—not 2.5 years—and Citizen’s June 2026 announcement identified an all-black model, not a blue-dial watch, as the latest Attesa limited edition at that time.
What the blue-dial Attesa is—and what its reserve means
The CB0215-18L pairs an iridescent dial that Citizen describes as shifting between azure and green with the H145 Eco-Drive movement. Eco-Drive converts light into operating power, so the watch does not rely on routine battery replacement in the way a conventional battery-powered quartz watch does.

Citizen Australia specifies a “2-Year Power Reserve (in Power-Save Mode).” That is the manufacturer’s stated reserve under the named power-saving condition; it should not be described as 2.5 years or as the watch’s ordinary runtime in every operating state. The figure is a published specification, not an independently measured result.
Is it Citizen’s latest limited-edition Attesa?
Not according to the dated announcements available here. Citizen Watch Global Network announced the blue-dial AT8314-53L on 11 September 2025, describing its dial as blue structural color and its crystal as full sapphire glass. The announcement specified a worldwide run of 1,800 pieces.

On 10 June 2026, Citizen announced the CC4107-80H and called it the latest Attesa release at that time. It is an all-black model featuring recrystallised titanium, with a stated worldwide quantity of 1,800 pieces. That announcement does not establish whether a newer model appeared after June 2026, so “latest” should be read as Citizen’s characterization on its announcement date—not a guarantee of current status.
The CB0215-18L is a blue-dial Attesa in the UNITE with BLUE series, but the cited product information does not establish that it is a limited edition or give it a numbered production quantity. Its existence supports the blue-dial part of the original claim; it does not support describing this specific model as the latest limited edition.

How the blue-dial model keeps time
The CB0215-18L uses radio-controlled timekeeping. Citizen says the watch can receive local time signals in four regions. Reception depends on being within range of a supported transmitter: Citizen Australia identifies Japan, China, the United States and Europe as supported regions, and cautions that reception does not work in Australia because no transmitting station is within range there. The watch can still be adjusted manually when radio reception is unavailable.
This distinction matters if you are buying for travel or for a location outside a transmitter’s coverage. Radio control is not the same as GPS reception: a radio-controlled watch needs a usable regional time-signal station, while a GPS model receives time signals from satellites.

Citizen’s 15 May 2025 UNITE with BLUE announcement included the CB0288-65L and CC4075-50L. Their power-save figures are not ordinary-runtime guarantees, and the two-year and five-year claims should be compared only with that operating condition in view. The GPS model is the option to consider if satellite synchronization better suits your use; radio-controlled models depend on regional transmitter access.

Citizen describes the CB0215-18L as a three-hand watch with a leather strap and a black Super Titanium case with DLC coating. Its published case diameter varies by market: Citizen US lists 42.5 mm, while Citizen Australia lists 42 mm. If case size is decisive, use the specification on the Citizen page for the market where you plan to buy rather than treating either figure as universal.

Citizen US showed the CB0215-18L as sold out when its page was accessed; that is a market- and time-specific stock status, not evidence that the watch is unavailable elsewhere. The cited edition quantities for other models likewise describe announced production numbers, not current inventory, resale value or present-day scarcity.
